Yes! You're right! A giraffe!

Her name was Lulu. She had another friend named Tom. He was a lion. She also had more friends like Lily the Parrot, Zoe the Zebra, Chimp the Ape, Polar the Bear and last but not least, April and Acorn the Meerkat twins. (They are both girls). They started being friends when they first moved into the zoo. Their cages were next to each other.

It all started when Lulu moved into the zoo. Zoe, Tom, Lily, Chimp, Polar, and Acorn, and April wanted to greet her. So the next day, they all went to her cage and started welcoming her. Lulu was very shy. They wondered, "Maybe she was just nervous?" But then they noticed a baby giraffe under her. They asked Lulu if they could be friends. And then Lulu said, ”I would love to be your friend!”

But then one day, Lulu noticed the zoo closing down. She ran to the other cages and then started telling everyone about it! Then, they came up with a plan. They found an old tourist car, then decorated it with lots and lots of crafting stuff and it was finished. They started the engine and then started driving on the road.

Then Tom asked Lulu, “Lulu, are you sure that this will work? Cause we don’t even know where we are going.” Then Lulu replied enthusiastically, “ Of course, this will work Tom! And I do know where we are going!” 

April and Acorn poked their little heads outside the window. Then, all of a sudden, the car stopped really suddenly! “Are we stuck mummy?” said the baby giraffe.

Then Lulu replied,`` "Of course, we aren’t my baby. The car has stopped just really suddenly. Polar, do you think that you can fix the engine if that’s the problem?” “Sure thing Lulu!" said Polar. He took his tool kit and then started fixing the engine. "And this Salmon is really yummy! Want some?"

Er... No thanks. And we are supposed to be telling a story! Not talking about how yummy salmon is!!!!

Whoops! Sorry!

That's ok! Just, don't get distracted next time! Ok?

Anyways, back to the story! In the meantime, Lulu stuck her head out of the window and looked if there was anything or anyone coming this way. April and Acorn stood on the grass outside of the car. Tom laid down on top of the car.

“Please don’t break the roof sitting up there,” said Lulu. Then Tom replied, ”I won’t.” Chimp found an unopened chip packet, a full chocolate bar, and a half-drunk Fanta can, and then sat on a bench eating them. Zoe just sat on the grass next to April and Acorn. Then Tom said to Chimp, ”Don’t eat the food you found, yet! We need to collect the food we find so we don’t starve during the journey!” But it was too late. Then Chimp replied, ”What did you say, Tom? I was too busy eating the chip packet, full chocolate bar and the Fanta I found.”

Then Tom said, “It doesn’t matter.“ Then the engine started working again! “Good as new!“ said Polar. “Come on guys! Let’s go!” said Lulu. Everyone jumped on except April and Acorn!
