In a tiny house near the deep, dark woods, there lived a little boy named Austin. 

He was a ten year old boy who loved exploring and walking around the edge of the woods.

One autumn evening, Austin was playing with his younger sister, Alice, in the fallen leaves. He loved jumping in them, especially because there were so many trees with fallen leaves.

"This is so much fun!" Austin said.

"Yes, these colourful fallen leaves are so beautiful too!", said Alice.

A few moments later, Austin and Alice started collecting leaves. They were very fascinated by all the different beautiful colours. Austin was so engrossed in collecting the leaves that he gradually wandered off into the deepest and darkest part of the woods.

Soon he realised where he was. "Oh no! I am so deep in the forest! This is too scary.", Austin thought. "How am I going to get out?"

Awooo!

Suddenly, he heard a loud howl nearby. 

"What could that be? Where is that sound coming from?" Austin thought to himself.

He was frightened and wanted to hide. But then, he decided to follow the sound and find out where it was coming from.

He followed the sound and found a big grey wolf trapped under some fallen branches.

"Aaahhh!!!! A wolf! I should run away", Austin thought. 

But then, he felt sad for the wolf. "I should help the wolf", he said to himself. 

He slowly approached the wolf and gently pulled the branches off. 

The wolf stopped howling and stood up on it's paws.

 Austin slowly backed off and was just about to run away, when something strange happened.

 "Thank you for helping me", said the wolf. Austin was shocked! " Don't be afraid. I will not harm you", said the wolf. 

Austin calmed down.
