This book is dedicated to my son Greg.  This book is about the importance of family, and the traditions that one day will be passed to you.

One of the cultural traditions in my family is the family reunion.  Our family unites the first full weekend in June at my great grandparents house.

My grandparents passed decades ago, but the Adair & Ryan family tradition continued on.

One of our traditions is to sing the song Family Reunion by the O'Jays.  

On Fridays we would have a trail ride, or a cookout during the day, and a party at night.

On Saturday we would have games and events 

for kids during the day, and then a banquet at night.

After the banquet the men would barbecue until early the next morning.

On Sunday morning we would go to church, and then meet at the house for the reunion.  We had shirts made every year with my Great Grandfather's last name, Adair, and my Great Grandmother's maiden name, Ryan.
