The Importance of Friendship 

Friends are important because they are there for you to celebrate during the good times and  to provide support during the bad times. 

Having someone that you can trust and is a loyal friend is very important if you need someone to talk to. Being there for your friends is also very important. 

    Friendship can also be between humans and animals. For example house pets. I am good friends with my dog Buster. We like to watch tv together. 

I have great friends through playing sport. I have met so many people through various soccer clubs. I still remain in contact with these friends many years later. 

Making friends can be done by joining clubs or societies, be outgoing, and taking initiative. My best friends are mostly from school, where we created so many memories with each other. When you spend time with people, you get to know each other and that is when you become friends.
