Prologue

Just Before Darkseid Died

Darkseid was in the middle of the chaos. He was almost dead. Bombs exploded around him. The air was thick. Smoke had engulfed the battlefield. Darkseid had a hole through the chest. He was too tired to breathe. He grabbed a chunk of rock from the ground. He reached his arm through his chest and pulled out his heart. It was still glowing. He ripped his heart in half. He inserted one half into the rock. 

He placed the other half of his heart back into his body. Half of his soul was inside the rock. Soon, Darkseid will be reborn and rule the world again. If only Makuta would agree to help him.

Makuta's Base

The rock Darkseid had created was at Makuta's base. Makuta didn't know what to do with it. He felt its energy surging through his body when he touched it. Each day, the force inside the rock seemed to grow stronger. Finally, the rock started to crack. Makuta looked at it every day to see if it hatched. It seemed like forever, but one day it hatched. Darkseid's soul floated out of it and became a fiery monster. On the centre of its head was a glowing heart.

"My name is Diablo. Darkseid ripped his soul into seven pieces. One of them is me. Only I have awakened. I can tell you where the stones are but you have to find them yourself. If we find them all we would be able to destroy the spies," said Diablo.

Spies Base

"I've researched about Darkseid's death and it said that he has created Horcruxes. They are things that have part of Darkseid's soul," I cried.

Carter, Rachel and Zane ran to me and read the article about Dark Seid's death. "We need to find all of the Horcruxes and destroy them to prevent Darkseid's return," shouted Carter.

 We packed our equipment and set off to find the Horcruxes.

Rainforest

"We've been hiking for ages," complained Carter.

We've only been hiking for five minutes when Carter started complaining. We had arrived at a large temple made of wood. We looked at the ground and realised that someone had got here before us. Suddenly, the ground burst into flames. Smoke rised from the ground until it blinded us. When the smoke cleared we realised that the temple had collapsed and we were left in the forest alone. I looked towards the ground again and saw a hole. I signalled the others to follow me and we went into the hole.

Carter led the way because he was the only one able to give us light. We followed him until the tunnel had reached an end. The tunnel had brought us to a wide clearing. We saw a fiery monster with a stone, walking with Makuta. The monster turned around and attacked us. I realised at once it was a Horcrux. I immediately went into Gear Fourth and attacked Diablo with Acid Stomp. Diablo dodged it and used Firestorm. I leapt out of the way as a fiery tornado appeared around Diablo. Carter used Serpentine Bipolar on Diablo but it was of no use.

Zane used Enhanced Ice on Diablo. It froze Diablo but he burst out of the ice and flung Zane across the forest floor. Rachel appeared behind Diablo and attempted to slice off Diablo's head. Diablo jumped out of the way and used Inferno Fire Ball and blasted her. Carter shot a few water cannonballs at Diablo but Diablo turned them into steam. Suddenly, a strong aura appeared around me. In the blink of an eye, I had transformed. Smoke rose from my back. My fists had completely turned into acid. I was almost covered in acid. "Gear Fourth Snake Man," I cried.

Air burst out of my legs and I flew towards Diablo. My right fist grew to the size of a mountain and hit Diablo. Diablo didn't have a chance to escape. My fist smashed into Diablo, causing him to fly across the battlefield. I hammered my fist onto Diablo again and again. Diablo used Flame Burst to escape. I swung my legs at Diablo. Diablo's arm hardened and tried to block the attack but it was of no use. My leg slammed into Diablo and almost cracked his skull. I turned into a doughnut-shaped wheel covered in acid.

I returned to human shape and my arm had turned into a giant mace. Diablo didn't have time to avoid the attack. My mace hand pounded onto Diablo, cracking his skull. We were battling so intensely, we didn't realise that Makuta's soul was watching us on a helicopter. The helicopter picked Diablo up and went away. Now that we knew a Horcrux was so powerful, we knew that we had to prepare.

Once we got back to our base Rachel asked me how I was able to get into Snake Man.

I started to train everyone. I battled them every day to help them get stronger. On the last day of our training, everyone could tie with me if I'm not in Snake Man. We heard that a Horcrux is in the Prison of Ice. 

Prison of Ice

Diablo and Makuta obliterated every single guard in the prison. They got to the top of the prison and found the Ice Horcrux. The Leaf Horcrux had started to crack. We arrived just in time to see the Ice Prison collapsing.

Diablo and Uxur (The Leaf Horcrux) were standing outside the Ice Prison. The Ice Horcrux had already opened because it was in its natural state. Melum had joined Diablo and Uxur. I immediately turned into Gear Fourth Snake Man and battled Diablo. Uxer and Melum battled the others. I used Acid King Kong Gatling and almost killed Diablo. Diablo used Fire Bomb to escape. I charged at him again but missed. Diablo used Crimson Flames to kill me. I evaded the attack and blasted him with Acid Magnum Gun Gattling. I fired thousands of acid balls at Diablo causing him to back away.
