We're moving to the country!
Lily was playing in the garden with her adopted brother, when Mom came out and said: "Trenton! Lily! we're moving to the country!" Her brother was happy, but Lily was sad. She wanted to stay in the woods, forever. She went to say goodbye to everything that they would leave behind. But she was in for a bumpy ride because Lily though she would stay in the same school.
When Lily's family left, for the trip to Kansas,
she though she just lost everything. Then she asked mom, "How will we get to our school?" Mom answered "You will go to a new school, silly." Lily was even more scared, sad, and homesick all in the same time. She never said goodbye to any of her friends. What is left of Lily?
After an hour, the arrived. The house was made of logs and it was huge. Lily did like their new house.

Lily's big sister, May said that "everything would be just fine." "We will like it here too." She felt better. Mom said "You can have your own room." Lily never had her own room! This was very exiting.

I love my new room!
Lily's went to her room. She loved it! But she was lonely. She had friends, but they were far away in the Great Woods. Also she had her bed in her room but that was all May had put in her room when her family were taking the things out, so she would take all her stuff out, and decorate her room so it would look nice, and people would want to be her best friend.

The next morning Lily got ready mostly by putting her pink dress on and walked to school with her brother and sister. While the sisters were standing by the door, Trenton climbed the big tree by the school house. A teacher came outside the door and said, "Welcome! Your three classes will be happy to see new children!" And she led them onto there classrooms.
