While I was growing inside of my Mommy, I was already learning what her voice sounded like. I loved to listen to music. Especially songs that my Mommy sang to me (BeJensen et al., 2018).

Soon after I was born, I preferred my Mommy's voice over any other sound. I was ready to begin understanding what other people were saying (BeJensen et al., 2018). I also found comfort in my Mommy's arms (CDC, 2018).

When I was hungry, my Mommy fed me the milk she created for me. She would hold me and often talk or sing to me. This helped get my brain ready to learn many things (Huang et al., 2014).

When it was bathtime, my Mommy would look at me. I would watch her face as she talked to me. I liked the warm water in the bath. This often made me smile and coo (BeJensen et al., 2018).
