What are Beebots?
Beebots are colourful, energetic bees designed to be a learning tool to help children learn about maths, science and many other things in a creative and fun way!

How do they work?
Beebots have wheels that they can move on and arrows on their backs that you can use to tell them where to go. The Beebot will remember the sequence you press the arrows and they will carry out that sequence by moving using its wheels!

You can watch your Beebot go on a journey by using one of the many different maps that they like to buzz around on!

With Beebots, the learning possibilities are endless! Beebots are especially useful in a mathematics lesson as children can develop estimation skills as they can try to guess how many times they need to press the arrow on the Beebot for it to get from one area, to another. Beebots can also help introduce new language and vocabulary such as "left, right" in infant classes and "North, South, West, East" in older classes using the arrows.

Our Beebot went on a journey!

Our Beebot is very adventurous and he decided to go on a journey! He went on a journey on the map, venturing past sharks and volcanos!

We used instruction cards to help Beebot on his journey. We led him on his way by pressing the buttons on his back. Beebot passed a waterfall, a bridge and a cave and then he finished his journey!

Beebots can be extremely helpful in the classroom as it can enable the children to learn about concepts in geography, maths and literacy.
Beebots can help children develop literacy skills as they communicate with eachother in groups to complete Beebot's journey and to come up with their own instruction cards!
Beebots can also help children expand upon
their understanding of geography. By using
the maps, it provides the children with a
playful experience that can teach them about
different habitats, flora and fauna!
