Hi, I'm Abbie! And if you can't tell I'm a honeybee!

I live in a hive with all my other 20,000 bee friends. Don't worry we all get along just fine.

In our hive, we all have different jobs. I'm a worker bee!

My job is to collect pollen and nectar for our hive.

We collect the pollen with a basket that we carry! Pollen even gets on our bodies!

Mmmm fresh honey

As honeybees, the main thing we're known for is our HONEY!

In some bee families, they live in bee quarters. They are looked after by a beekeeper.

The beekeeper helps us share our honey with the rest of the world.

Now that you know where some honeybees live, let me show you around inside!
We store our honey in these small cells, and we seal it with beeswax! Honey is made out of the nectar we collected with the pollen.

When we put the nectar in the cells, and apply beeswax. We have to make sure it drys out because the nectar is like a sweet liquid.
