Gaby was very excited when she jumped out of bed that morning. She was going on  a picnic with her cousin Laura. She ran to her bedroom window and peeped out. It was a bright sunny day and there were hardly any clouds in the sky. “It is a perfect day for a picnic” she said to herself. She quickly got dressed and ran downstairs and she gobbled up her breakfast.

“Slow down darling” said her Mum. “ Your cousin will be take at least ten minutes to come”

“I don’t want to be late Mum “ said Gaby. Mum smiled.

“Thanks for the yummy treats Mum” said Gaby “ It smells so good”

“Don’t open it now. The food might get cold” called out Mum.

"Sure Mum” said Gaby.

After breakfast Gaby picked up a picnic basket and waited at the front door for Laura to come. Laura arrived in a couple of minutes with another picnic basket. The girls ran to the woods next to Gaby’s house.

They saw beautiful flowers,birds and trees. They found a nice picnic spot under the golden sun. They decided to have a game of ball before they ate their picnic. They were enjoying their game. 

But then Laura accidently through the ball too high and it landed near a tree. When the girls ran to get it Gaby noticed a door on the tree. The girls decided to knock on the door.

KNOCK! KNOCK! Slowly the door opened. There was a tiny fairy. “Hello! My name is Tinkerbell. What are your names ? “ she asked pleasantly. 

“My name is Gaby and this is my cousin Laura” Gaby introduced themselves.

“Would you like to come inside?”

“Sure” replied the girls.

“Would you like some lemonade ?” asked Fairy Tinkerbell.

The girls nodded with delight. As soon as they drank the lemonade they floated up and they started to fly. They were overjoyed.
