I was at the blacktop enjoying the sunshine until all of a sudden I heard someone calling my name… “Hey Marie!” my BFF Lilly called. “Hi!” I said. “Want to chat for a bit?” “Sure!” “I actually really wanted to ask you, what are you going to do after the school year ends?” I asked, curiously. “Well, I am going on vacation to New York City…” Lilly stated, flipping her hair out of her face. “You're kidding! I am going too!” “Really?” “Yeah! What day are you going?” I questioned. “I believe we will get there on June 8th and leave late on June 10th.” she responded. “Cool! Me and my parents will get there in the morning on June 10th, and then leave on the 11th on a cruise. “Wow!” Then suddenly, the bell rang. “See you in New York!” Lilly and I called to each other. Both of us knew that it was almost impossible to be able to meet each other in a city as huge as New York, but little did we know what the future held…

Central Park New York City
It was a sunny day, and my parents and I were having a nice walk in Central Park. Today is my mom's birthday, and she requested that she wanted to have a walk in the park and then see a 3D movie later today. Tomorrow, we will catch a cruise with our friends to an island called Bermuda. At first when I heard the name of the island I freaked out, but don't worry! The island is not in the Bermuda Triangle. It is famous for its pink sand which I was really excited to see. As my parents and I were walking, we got to a traffic light so we stopped. There was a group of people following us from behind. When the people stopped near us to wait for the traffic light I turned my head to have a glance of who is at the left side of us. Not long after, I felt like I saw someone familiar. It was a short girl with curls, blue eyes, and a New England accent, that I
could hear as she was talking to what looked like her sister. I turned myself around. “Lilly?” I yelled. "Marie, what are you doing?" My mom looked very confused about why I was yelling.“Marie is that you?” The girl ran over to me. I then knew exactly, that who I was looking at was my friend Lillian Rich from school. “OMG!” Our parents were absolutely astonished by what just happened. “I guess that when we said see you in New York, it wasn't a joke.” I told her. “Yes indeed.”
