Hi! My name is Yue. I'm a bowl of noodles. This is my family. 

You may be wondering,  "how come you guys all look different? Well, that's simple.

I'm adopted, so all of us here don't look the same, and that's okay, because I still belong here.

Let me tell you my story. 

These are my parents, Mindy and Mason. They may not look like me, but they love me very much, and I love them very much. They are a pair of dumplings. 

This is my sister, Mena. She is also adopted. She is a sushi. 

Unlike me, she doesn't grow any more food as she gets older. I started off as a noodle, then slowly gained more noodles as I got older.

Mommy and Daddy couldn't give birth to their own children, so they decided to get my sister, then me.

So, now we are a big happy family!

Sometimes I wonder if I belong or not...

"I see families that look the same, and then I remember that I don't look anything like my family."

Even if you don't look like your family, you're still important and loved. Not all families look the same, and we have to remember that. Everyone is special in their own way. I am special in my own way.

Despite us bowl of noodles being similar, we are all different. 

That's okay. Each of us noodles are special, and yet, we are the same. We each have our own uses, and our own different flavor. That's what makes us special. But, nothing will change that we are all noodles. 

We belong to the same grouping, yet have our differences.
