Have you ever wondered why 

some people wear a mask, even though 

they are vaccinated against Covid-19? 

No, it’s not because they are 

germophobic, it’s for other reasons.

Everyone should be required

to wear a mask, even if they are 

vaccinated. Because the vaccine 

does not fully protect you against 

covid-19.

One reason why is that the Vaccine just makes

the infection more bearable. It’s still going to be bad, 

but the vaccine lowers your chances of dying from 

the virus. Wearing a mask lowers your chances of 

getting the virus. According to the CDC, the Covid 19 

vaccine is not 100% effective at preventing infection, 

so some people who are vaccinated will still get Covid-19. 

This point is valid due to information from the CDC

stating that the Covid-19 vaccine does not have 100%

effectiveness against preventing infection.

A second reason why is that if you have the virus, the mask 

lowers your chances of transmitting it to others. 

Most masks have a layer that absorbs moisture and spit

particles, which is the main way covid 19 travels. Therefore, 

you should wear your mask the correct way, with the front 

layer facing the front. The front layer may not have the 

moisture-absorbing abilities the back layer has and you 

might end up transmitting the virus to someone else. 

This point is valid as it mentions the back layer of the mask 

and how it protects others from getting Covid-19 from you 

if you don’t know you have Covid-19. This also reduces the 

spread of the virus so that we can hopefully get rid of the 

virus soon.

People that disagree might say that the mask causes 

carbon dioxide poisoning, where your body breaths 

in a high amount of carbon dioxide, usually from being confined in an airtight room with no way out. This can affect your breathing rate and heart rate and may possibly cause death. They claim that the mask is not breathable and may trap Co2 particles in its enclosure.
