"One that we haven't heard before please!" begged the kids. "Okay okay I'll tell you a true story." "One that you'll have never heard before." Said Ally

Prologue 

Five tales turn into one story. One story can become a legend. All legends become history and are never forgotten. Five hero’s with many obstacles. Obstacles with many names. All end in different ways. To find out what happens next to learn how to reach the stars. The hero’s they will guide you to find the calling of the moon.

Book Two The Ballroom Scandal

 Chapter one The ballroom dance

Ally could not remember a time in her life when people didn’t whisper about the ballroom dace. They would glace sideways and whisper so slightly that no one they think would know. But Ally knew. She heard what they said and what they said was ever so confusing. For the ballroom dace was a curse to everyone, and a doom. Ally heard the sideways tales of maidens beautiful, and fair. But everyone who walked inside would tell you it wasn’t fair.

Course even so everyone would buy, and buy, and buy a ticket to the ballroom dance. In hopes for them to get their chance. The prince would stare, and glance, and gawk but he turned them all away. But still every single one kept showing up that day. Ally waited and, waited. But she must be needing a lot cause unless you could afford to pay it was a worthless lot. But Ally knew she would find a way to pay. She would scrub, and scrub, and scrub, and scrub till the houses were clean.

"I don’t understand what do you mean you won’t give me pay?!" asked Ally. "We aren’t paying you." "Now LEAVE!" said the grumpy couple. Ally was mistreated and thrown out much. She twisted and turned in her sleep dreaming of the ballroom dance. Witch so many dream of. She would wonder in her dream to the top of the stairs, and everyone would whisper or seem quite scared. Then a voice would come booming in from the left, and he would say the princess name, and let him show himself. Then Ally would wake with a start. Like every  single day.

Ally worked for years through days, and had gotten almost enough for the ballroom dance. But for now she waited wondering why people whisper, and look around. Still every year almost everyone came, and then it was over till next year. Ally had a few more jobs to ponder. But she wasn't sure how much she would enjoy it. She was very fearful of the person in charge. They were very cruel but what choice did Ally have?

The job was simple yet hard. The person who was giving Ally the job was fearful of it. She wanted the tears of a unicorn. But it was almost impossible to find a unicorn, and if you did even harder to get it's tears. The unicorn had to choose to give them to you, and if you were not worthy the unicorn would kill you. But Ally knew she could do it. She had to do it.

If Ally had stopped to consider why the person who gave the job might want unicorn tears. She would have not taken the job. Because the person who gave her the job wanted the tears were because they could grant the power of death. You could kill anyone or anything. Or you could use the tears to go the the ballroom dance……

Chapter two unicorn tears

"Madame how much will I be paid for this?" Asked Ally. ,"One million dollars times five." said madame. "Is there specific tears of a unicorn you’d like?" asked Ally. "Why thank you I would enjoy the Finver unicorn tears." said madame. What are the Finver unicorns you ask. There the most powerful unicorns in the world. They have the powers of nature, moon, dark, light, and rainbow magic. It also makes them the most dangerous unicorns.

"Oh and one last request kill the wretched creature when you get the tears." "The finver unicorns are so very evil." "As is all unicorns." said madame.

"Yes of course madame." Ally whispered. Ally walked out of the room crying. Head on her hands. How was Ally supposed to kill such a kind precocious creature? Ally felt a cold white rage sweep over her body softly. How was she supposed to do something that evil!

Ally went to the unicorn clouds in search of the Fervin unicorns. She was very fearful she wouldn't find one, or it might kill her immediately. But Ally needed to go to the ball. Maybe she would finally find her parents, or a friend, or a love Ally needed to do this. When Ally heard the soft du dump du dump of hoves she knew a fervin unicorn must be near. She searched over but still couldn't see one anywhere. She was about to give up when she saw a light glittering in the distance it was a fervin unicorn!

The unicorn was a bright purple unicorn. With a purple teal and pastel green horn. Her main was dotted with stars and was black and white. She looked like the most beautiful creature alive At that point. But then thump the unicorn had fallen. A few drops of blood were slipping down her leg. There was a bite mark. A wolf must be close. Ally dragged the fervin unicorn to a safe cave, and wrapped her leg in a cast. Putting healing cream on her wound.

Ally saw the the unicorn stand up wearily. Ally looked into the eyes of the unicorn, and it looked into the eyes of hers. It beckoned her fourth. It took out a vile and let a few tear drops slide down her check. The unicorn let out a neigh, and nuzzled Ally. She had left something wrapped up on the ground. Then ran faster than wind faster than light. Letting a trail of stars follow her. Ally unwrapped the package.  It was a staff with an amethyst on it. It was lying on the ground for Ally!

Ally touched the staff and it glowed a bright purple the tears shimmered in the vile. Ally slowly trudged toward madame to deliver the tears. Then she would only need a little more before she could go to the ballroom. Then she would find a friend, or a parent, or a love. Any of these things would make her smile.

"Here you are madame." said Ally. "Thank you now here is the money I offered." said madame. The next job Ally would have to do would be incredibly dangerous, and hard. The job she was doing was she needed ten mermaid scales. Then she would get paid another five million dollars.

Chapter three Ally’s confession 

The next job Ally would take on would be very difficult. To get mermaid scales even just one scale you must complete two favors of her. So two times ten she would have to do ten favors for the mermaid for the mermaid She would be getting the scales from. Her client was Mr Amir. He was strict, and powerful. But fair, and honorable.

"Hello sir." said Ally. "Hello miss." said the man. "Sir do you have any specific suggestions for the scales you want?" asked Ally. "Yes ma’am I do." "could you get ten moon mermaid scales?" said Mr. Amir. "please yes sir I promise I will." I’ll bring them to you very very soon sir." "Have a good day." said Ally. Ally went to mermaid cove in search of the moon mermaid she would meet. Then a "hello" Came. A soft voice. Ally slowly turned around and spotted the speaker. It was a mermaid but she looked familiar, and she was just the right mermaid she needed to see.

"Hi." said Ally nervously "um my names Ally what’s your name"? asked Ally. "My names Luna." said the mermaid. Luna looked like a black, and white mermaid with starry hair, and a beautiful purple, and galaxy silver tail. Ally watched as Luna's tail swished back, and forth. Luna had a dreamy expression, and bright blue eyes. She asked "what are you doing here?" Ally said "I was wondering if I could do you some favors for ten mermaid scales…" "sure". said Luna "but I won’t make the favors easy". "first I want you get me a crystal." "But it’s not a normal crystal they only grow in the catacombs…" said Luna.

As Ally walked down the mermaid cove. She thought of the crystals she used to collect as a very small child. The crystals were normally purple, or they would be geodes. Ally looked for the cave she might find these special crystals in. After walking for a few hours. Ally started to wonder if she was ever even going to find these catacombs. When bump! Ally had run into something hard, and rocky. Ally looked up, and saw the catacombs.

Ally stepped into the dark, damp catacomb. She looked around in wonder. It was dusty, and there were cobwebs everywhere. But what she saw dazzled her. She saw beautiful paintings of magic mermaids with names. When she came to the end of the catacomb. She saw a message inscribed on the stone wall. It read "if thow wants to get the gems. Thow must prove thow worthy. Put thow face on the stone board and wait."

So Ally put her face on the cold stone board wondering "what in the world was on this thing." Then creek. creek. creek. The wall opened up to show a cat with wings. It growled, and she heard a voice. "Ride the  nisxenqe to find what you seek." Ally saw the beautiful nisxenqe she thought that the nisxenqe might be the cat with wings. Ally walked toward it. The cat backed away she growled, and hissed. Ally said please help me. I need to get to the other side. The cat didn't back off, But it wasn't hissing anymore. So Ally felt a bit better.

Ally held out fish, but the cat turned it's head in discussed. So Ally thought what in the world would this cat want to eat. Ally saw the cat chained up. She felt very bad for the poor creature. So she took out her staff and chanted a spell to break the chain. The cat mewed happily, and purred. Then it chomped up the fish. The cat bent down, so Ally could get on then it flew.

Ally could feel the wind. It was blowing around, and on her so fast she was getting winded. The cat was purring, and growling. Ally could see a cave getting closer, and closer. When Ally stepped off the cat she gave it a pet, and went into the cave. The cave was cold, and old, and dark. Then Ally saw something glowing in the distance. It was a beautiful black, white, and purple crystal. It was glowing, and glittering. Ally carefully picked it up but the cave started to collapse!  

When Ally went back to see Luna she said "that her other favor was she wanted a bottle of magic water that she could find in the darkest part of the volcano." In Trattatnao." "Climb into the volcano find a way to avoid the lava, and go to the bottom of the volcano." "Then dip the bottle into the water." "You will then have the magic water." said Luna.

"Okay I got this!" Ally thought to herself. As she rode to the volcano on a boat she was getting a creeping suspicion that someone was following her. She turned around but no one was there, so she went back to thinking of how in the world she would even get close to the bottom of the volcano.

When Ally got to the volcano she saw a snow board which was crazy because it was the summer and they were next to a volcano. But Ally took it with her just in case. Then she had an idea maybe she could ride the snowboard down the giant hot volcano to get to the very bottom! So Ally hopped on, and  started ridding. Ally could feel the heat of the lava on her skin then she saw the volcano went downward in a curve. Ally was so excited, but nervous. She wondered if she would make it to the bottom of the volcano, or not..

Ally was about to hop off the snow board when splash a huge wave of lava came near her. Ally was able to avoid it, but her arm got badly burned, and she didn't know what to do. But Ally kept going even if her arm was hurt. Ally got to the bottom of the volcano, and there was water. Ally could feel it. But it was pitch black, and she couldn't see anything. So she dipped her bottle into the water, and rode her snow board back up the volcano. To get to Luna.

When Ally got back with the water Luna said "your hurt here let me help." Luna used her special healing powers, and said "here I think you earned seven scales." Now I need three more favors, and you'll have your ten scales you need.

"Luna I should tell you something". said Ally. Ally's voice quivered "I’m a mermaid too…." said Ally. "You are!?" exclaimed Luna. "Yeah I am." said Ally. "Wow that’s really cool". said Luna. "Okay so your next thing I need you to do is well… there’s a huge fire going on in the lagoon of sirens, so I need you to put it out." said Luna. "But be really careful. Sirens are dangerous, and they drag you in with there singing." "So don’t get fooled." warned Luna.

Chapter four the secret lagoon

Ally walked along the cove to the lagoon Ally was supposed to go to. She looked around in confusion where is the lagoon, and the fire, and the sirens? Suddenly swish. swash. swish. swish. Ally looked around nervously to see a shadow figure standing behind her. Ally said "hello um do you know about the fire and the lagoon?" asked Ally. But instead of the shadow figure answering her. It ran at her, and attacked her.

Ally ran for it. She ran into the forest hoping to get away, but the shadow was so fast it broke through the tree’s. A tiger couldn’t have run that fast. Ally ran into the sticky swamp stickers. They are supposed to trap anyone who goes in them. So Ally took her best chance, and ran in. Ally was able to avoid the vines, but the figure was not. It got caught, and right when Ally was about to make a run for it. She saw the vines were going to choke whoever was in there. So Ally cut through the vines, and helped them out. They took off their mask, and it turned out to be a siren.

"Um who are you"? asked Ally suspiciously. "The sirens of course." said the siren, and in a deep voice said "I’m Puna the leader of the sirens who are you?" asked Puna. "I’m Ally, and I’m supposed to be putting out the fire with this special magic water.' said Ally. Puna said "come with me I’ll explain." "You see we thought you were a threat so we used and illusion to keep you out, but thank you for coming." "Also thank you for helping this lagoon." said Puna. "Um no problem." Ally said. "Um I’m happy to help!" Ally exclaimed. Ally looked at the giant fire, and couldn’t believe that a tiny vile of water would fix this.

But Ally poured in the water, and the fire went out fast. Puna gave Ally a beautiful moon necklace, and she said "it had special magic in it." "I think I should be heading back thanks for everything!" Ally said. "No thank you." Puna said. Then she said "you are a true gem thank you for everything."

Chapter five the curse of the blood moon.

Ally came back to Luna, and said "done!" Luna said "I need your help big time." "The blood moon is coming, but there’s a curse on the blood moon." said Luna. "The sirens appear, and they will kill anyone the want please help me!" begged Luna. "Stop them and you you can have the last two scales but please help me." said Luna.

"Of course I’ll help you Luna." Ally said. "I would help you even if you didn’t give me a scale for this." Ally said. "Come on let’s go stop some sirens now!" Ally shouted. "Good come on then!" Luna said. As Ally, and Luna walked to the sirens lair Ally could hear a beautiful voice coming from inside. Ally wanted to pear in, and just listen. All of a sudden almost like Luna was reading her mind she said don’t let down your guard that song is not to be trusted. No one but the sirens sing it. 

"Why can’t it be trusted?" Ally asked. "Why can only sirens sing it?" asked Ally curiously. "It can’t be trusted because it was a curse a very very long time ago." "When mermaids were… desperate to survive." "They would curse humans into giving them food, and water, and information." "At the time it seemed harmless, and innocent." "But when we found out what it did to the humans we declared it a curse, and to never sing it again." "But then the sirens arrived." said Luna said.

"What did it do to the humans?" asked Ally. "It made them very ill." "No cure no healing no nothing could help it, and then after a month without treatment they died." said Luna. The way sirens attract humans is they sing this song. "They sing loudly, and from their hearts and then they use it make them come under the water." "Even if the human escaped they would die anyway." "That’s why this song is a curse." Luna whispered.

"Whoa". Ally said softly. "That’s horrible how do we stop these sirens?" asked Ally. Luna smiled grimly, but the smile looked crooked. Not right, and in that moment Luna did not look like Luna. She said "we must destroy their magic." "So they can’t hurt anyone." said Luna grimly. "How do we do that?" Ally whimpered. Ally started to feel very uncomfortable. Something about Luna right now scared her.

Luna then said "we have to drain their magic, and absorb it." "Will it hurt them, or us?" Ally asked cautiously. "I don’t really know." said Luna. "But I’ve done it once before." said Luna. "It looked like it hurt to me." Luna said. "Then we can’t do we can’t hurt them!" "That’s not right! What if we put them in jail, or compromised with them…." Ally protested. "No we can’t do that". said Luna. "We have to make them pay the price of what they have done." Luna laughed.

Ally now started to feel her body shaking. "I…..I.. I can’t do this Luna." said Ally. Luna said "try it your way, and when it doesn’t work come find me." Ally cautiously went into the cave. Ally heard the sirens talking. The sirens were saying "is it tonight?" "I think so who should we…. Dispose of?" "I don’t know but I smell someone." "Let’s get them." they said. Ally saw the sirens swimming forward. They looked at Ally, and said "what are you doing in our cave?" 

Um um um Ally felt her voice come clean out of her. She didn’t know what to say. She thought to herself "would anyone know what to say if hypnotizing killer sirens were talking to you?" Ally finally found her voice, and said "you need to stop using your powers for evil, or…, or there will be um consequences." Ally said. Ally knew her voice was shaky, and she didn’t feel very confident. The sirens burst out laughing. "Are you joking they laughed oh…." "Oh your being serious." they laughed.

"Yes I am being serious." Ally said. "Now you can’t use your powers for bad things anymore, or Luna my mermaid friend will drain all your powers." Ally said in a more confident tone. The sirens mood changed suddenly. "Did you just say drain our magic?!" they shouted. "The last time that happened……  our sister she… died." they all whimpered, and bowed their heads in honor. Ally started to get very angry with Luna. "What do you mean she died?!" Ally hollered. "Um don’t you know?" they asked. "If Luna were to drain our magic our life would go out with it." they said. "We will do anything just please don’t hurt us." they whispered.

Ally came out of the cave and said "the sirens surrendered Luna we don’t have to take their magic now." Ally said. Luna looked angry at this, and it made Ally feel even more surprised. Luna said "then we have to take them to the mermaid prison." The sirens swam out, and Luna handed Ally the last two scales she needed. But right when Ally was about to leave a tiny siren whispered "come back in please". Ally walked back in and said "um aren’t you supposed to be with the other sirens?" Ally asked.

"Well yes, but I had to hide." the tiny siren said. "Can.....can I talk to you for a moment Mrs. Ally?" she asked. "Um ok." Ally said confused. "Listen Luna is not who she says she is." "She’s....she controlled us to hurt people, and other things." "She used this weird magic." "Were not Sirens." "Were normal mermaids, but Luna she used some dark moon magic, and that’s also how she drains magic." "That conversation you heard with the other mermaids Luna was controlling them!" "Please you have to help me save them, and if you don’t believe me then you need to think back." Has “your friend” Luna done anything weird lately?" she asked.

Ally thought back. "Yes she had." Then just like a light bulb Ally realized why Luna needed those specific favors. She needed Ally to get the crystal of the moon. "She needed her to put out the fire for the real sirens." "So she could capture them, and she wanted Ally to dispose of any witnesses." "She now understood how could Ally have not realized this?!" Ally thought. "Okay." Ally said. "I’ll help you don’t worry." Ally reassured her.

Ally secretly followed Luna to this so called "jail." she saw thousands of merpeople there. She couldn't believe Luna would do this. As soon as Luna left. Ally unlocked all the cages, and the merpeople all started trying to shout what really happened, and Ally said "STOP IT I Already KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!" she shouted. 

As Ally led all the merpeople to there home one of the tiny mermaids came out and handed something heavy to Ally. She said "this might be useful it's a shape shifter doughnut enjoy!" Ally walked back all the way to the person who had asked for the scales. He gave her the right amount of payment. Now the next person she needed to talk to was Mrs. Elvenia.

Chapter six a trapeze

Ally went to her next costumer she said "Hello ma'am how may I provide for you?" asked Ally. The lady said "I need a single horn of a dragon get the fox tailed glazer horn please." she said. "Ok." said Ally. She walked out, and went to find a dragons horn. "The lady she had talked to she seemed actually a bit scared." "Her voice was shaky." She talked fast, and she seemed in a hurry to leave." she wore a long tan, and yellow jacket. ""She also had a badge on it said the ball----." "Then Ally couldn't ready any more of what was written."

Ally walked into a straight up dragons den without even noticing. When she had left the lady's house she had teleported, and appeared in front of the biggest dragon she had ever seen. It snarled and asked "who are you?" in a deep low growl. Ally stammered "I...I..I." Ally couldn't talk she looked at the huge dragon. It had teal, and red scales. With bright yellow, and black horns. It's eyes were colored differently one was purple. One was green. Finally Ally said "I need a dragon horn from you please..."

"Hmmm?" the dragon eyed Ally suspiciously, and smirked. He mischievously said "I'll give you a horn if you can provide hmm a good show." "If you give me that you can have whatever you want." he said. Ally cautiously agreed, and the giant dragon led her to a tent with loud circus music. Ally stepped inside, and couldn't stop herself from saying "wow!". It was a magical sight. Ally saw bright lights everywhere. Monkeys, lions, magicians, a trapeze to swing. From snacks like peanuts. candy, popcorn, and so much more.

Ally snapped out of her wondrous state, and asked "what does any of this have to do with me though sir?" she asked the dragon. The dragon replied with "you are a gymnast are you not?" "You can do flips, and your best event is bar." "You will be a Trappist, but make no mistake you will have to do much than just flying in the air, and flipping." "Good luck!" the dragon smirked. Ally felt a cold fear sweep over her like dust. "Perhaps she could just go back on doing this." "Say she'd find a different dragon." But then Ally found herself in front of the trapeze getting ready to swing! "Uh oh." she thought.

Ally grabbed onto the trapeze, and braced herself. Then she swung. Everything felt as if it was going into slow motion. She saw everything, and everyone staring at her. Then she saw the fire. Fire was circling around her. She also realized who was making the fire. It was dark black fire. The dragon was circling around her. Setting fire! Ally shouted "nevmei!" Then the fire froze. Ally felt herself falling, so she flipped. Then a rather alarming sight came into view. The dragon had his mouth wide open ready to chomp down on her. Ally flipped one, two, three, four, times, and then Ally got ready to get eaten. Ready for the pain, but it never came. She realized he was father away from her than she thought. But not by much. She had to think fast.

Ally saw a weak point on the dragons back, and tried to steer herself to the dragons back. She fell on, and started to slip. When she grabbed the dragons tail. She held on tight, but felt her hands getting sweaty, and hard to hold on to. Then Ally felt her stomach do a flip flop upside down. The dragon had started to fly higher, and higher, and then upside down. Ally saw the trapeze again, and let go of the dragon. Ally felt herself falling down. Down. Down. Then she grabbed on tight, and swung once more.

Ally knew she must be flying right now because the feeling she had felt like no other. Her head was light. Her mind was fuzzy. Her mouth tasted dry, and her eyes were closed. Her body was dancing in the air. When Ally opened her eyes again she saw that a group of monkeys were stacked on top of each other. Holding things that clapped loudly. Coming right for her. Her trapeze started to move side ways. The dragon wailed with laughter, and shouted "have fun trying to doge the clapping monkeys!" Ally felt quite angry with the dragon at this point, and when she got out of here. She would be glad to leave.

Ally saw the monkeys growing nearer, and nearer. Ally got her last swing in when she jumped. She jumped over the dragon jumped over the monkeys. Jumped over the fire, and the she grabbed back on again. She was about to jump again when Ally saw the monkeys getting taller, and wider. Ally swung side to side dogging all the monkeys. Until one monkey bit down hard on one of her arms. Ally screamed in pain, and let go with one arm. A streak of red went down her arm. At first she thought it could be blood, but then she saw it was a long red ribbon. So she climbed up. Up. Up. Until she got on top of the tent.

The dragon landed and said “you’ve been a delightful show, but I’m quite hungry, and you look like a delicious midnight snack!" the dragon growled. Ally felt fear like nothing before. When stttttikkkkkkk loud crack erupted from behind the dragon, and the dragon collapsed. A boy with short hair, and a wide eyed expression said "hi!" Ally Said "hi." back very confused. Then asked "did you hurt it?" The boy looked confused and asked “hurt what?” Then Ally asked “did you hurt the dragon that is collapsed on the ground right now!?”

"Ummm maybe." he said mischievously. Then Ally asked "did you kill it?" The boy smirked and said "not yet but I’ll turn it in to the hunters later!" he howled with laughter. Ally then felt sorrowful for the dragon. He must have just been angry, and cautious. Ally suddenly reacted on nerve, and stepped in front of the dragon. "I can let you hurt him!" she said. The boy looked shocked, and stunned then he said “are you JOKING?!” he yelled." "I saved you from this hideous beast, and you want to save it?" he shouted.

"Yes...yes I do!" Ally shouted. in a matter of fact tone. "Now leave him alone, or I’ll have no choice ....but...but....but to um." Ally hesitated. "But..but...but.. but what?!" the boy asked mockingly. "If you try to hurt this dragon I’ll have to fight you for him so leave." said Ally determinedly. "Um ok I’ll take you on!" the boy laughed. He dropped his happy wide eyed smile, and took off his coat. Then he ran at Ally punching, and kicking her. He got Ally in a corner. When bam! Ally used her powers the freeze him. Then she tied him up, and unfroze him. "Your going to stay here till I can help this dragon!" Ally said.

Ally used her healing powers, and healed the wounded dragon. When he open his eyes he looked shocked and very interested. Then skrrrrrrech, and Ally felt pain a stabbing pain and then well....She forgot everything, and then.

Chapter seven the dragon clan

Ally opened her eye's. The dragon group of people huddled around her. "Who are you all?" Ally asked in astonishment. A tall hooded person stepped in front of her, and said in a soft voice "you saved a dragon somebody tried to hurt you." "So we got you out in time." Ally felt mildly shocked, and then she asked "why did you help me though?"

One of the hooded girls stepped up, and said "have you not heard of the dragon clan?" Ally then said "sorry no." The others gasped. Then an old man lifted his cloak, and what she saw was magnificent. An old man with scales on his arms, and back. Red, and yellow scales. Then he said "duck." So Ally ducked, and the old man blew fire everywhere. Then he said "once a long time ago there were many more dragons out there." "Then the royals clan came." "They thought the dragons were evil, and they also saw power, and wealth in them." "They forced the dragons to breath fire, and forced the dragons into letting people ride them." "They would sometimes even kill them for their scales." "Then a young girl saw this happen to a dragon, and she swore an oath after that day nothing would ever happen like that again." said the old man.

"The young girl raced down to her village, and begged for help to free the dragons, and to help her save them." "But all the village did was laugh, and say go home or your just a peasant girl." "But the young girl would not give up hope." "She then went straight to the royals castle to free the dragons all at once." "She saw they had chains on, so she found pointy rocks, and for hours would sit there trying to tear the chains off." "One day while she was helping dragons escape a young boy saw her doing this." "Instead of telling everyone he went to help her."  "The same thing happened with another boy." "Soon another girl and eventually a whole clan of kids were trying to save the dragons." "When they got all the dragons freed they decided to hide them somewhere special." said the old man.

"The kids decided to dedicate their whole lives to saving dragons, and helping others." "They named themselves the dragon clan, and the girl who saved the very first dragon." "Was rewarded with essence of the very most powerful dragon ever to be known." "The Fox Tailed Glazer Horn, and it just so happened that you saved that very one from one of the royals tonight." "So with a kindness gesture great as that." "We award you the dragon essence from the most powerful dragon." "Thank you for helping him, and let us show you where our dragons hide." said the old man.

The leader of the clan stepped up, and said "we were all given the gift to look like dragons." "To have the powers of dragons, and to become dragons." "With this essence you can also do this." "We have a choice to stay in a human form, or a dragon form." Ally picked up the vile of glowing blue essence, and drank a few drops of it. Ally felt herself growing bigger, and taller. Ally felt herself growing scales. Ally felt herself breathing fire.

The clan walked with Ally to an open clearing with nothing in sight. Ally watched confused as the clan members started chanting to an open clearing of nothingness. As they chanted the last few times the clearing started to glow. Figures of dragons could be made out, and when the clan stopped chanting Ally could see everything in perfect view. Green dragons, blue dragons, purple dragons, too big, too small every size. Every shape. Every color. Ally stared amazed at the sight. When crack!

A hunter had walked over kicked one of the baby dragons hard too hard. The baby fell on it's side, and flailed around helplessly. Ally picked up the baby dragon, and healed it. Then set it down, so it could rest. The hunter ran straight at a different dragon, but this time Ally blocked him. As a dragon she was so much stronger. As she grabbed the hunter she threw him out, but Ally could tell it wasn't over. Ally said "please protect the other dragons I will deal with him."

Ally ran as fast as she could still in her dragon form. The hunter stood back up. He charged at Ally she grabbed him, and before she knew what she was doing. She growled. A deep growl from somewhere deep within herself. The hunter took out a riffle, and Ally bit it right in half the hunter froze with fear and right as Ally was going to breath fire she suddenly stopped. As she realized who she was, and what she was doing. She let him go, and run away.

She watched as he ran away, and she felt anger overtake her. She had just let him go! So she grabbed him back, and took him to the dragon clan. "What should we do with him?" asked Ally. The dragon clan said "we simply put him in the dragon jail." "It won't hurt him will it?" asked Ally nervously." "Of course not!" said the clan. "we would never hurt anyone." "Were a peaceful clan." The leader said. Ally sighed in relief, and then went into her human form. "Um excuse me great leader of the dragon clan?" Ally said. "I kind of lost myself in the dragon is that normal?" asked Ally. "Oh yes it's very normal to get lost sometimes." "You just need practiced, but if there is someone you hate never go into it!" "You could kill them." said the dragon clan leader. 

"Oh!" said Ally. "I need something!" "I was wondering if I could go see the dragon I saved?" asked Ally. "Of course." said the dragon clan leader. Ally walked up to the dragon who wanted to probably eat her. He said "I know I made you a promise." "Would you like a horn?" asked the dragon. "Yes please!" Ally exclaimed. "Oh, and um are you ok? she asked. The dragon nodded, and said "you saved me child." "Thank you very much." "Would you like a ride back to your home?" asked the dragon. "Yes please!" Ally shouted. Ally shot up and bounced! 

Chapter eight a night time scandal.

Ally walked up to her next costumer. Ally walked up the steps to a giant black mansion. Ally was about to knock. When she saw a note on the black door it read "Dear Ally this door will unlock momentarily." "Please find a shadow crystal, and bring it to me." "You will find it inside the house." "If you succeed you will also be given a dark rainbow crystal in exchange for the shadow crystal." "Good luck!" "But a word of caution." "No one not one human has ever survived this." "If you do you will be the first." 

At this Ally felt quite anxious, but carefully stepped inside knowing this was the only way to achieve her dream of finding a family. Maybe finding a friend. So she knew she had to do this. Ally stepped inside the old creaky floor board. As she did so the board went crrrrrreak! Ally felt a bit jumpy. She turned on the switch, but the light still didn't cut on. Something in the shadows moved closer. Ally reacted quickly jumping up, and yelping! The creature hissed, and slithered toward her. Ally realized it was a snake. She bent down to see better. Even  with the lights off Ally could still see. Just not well. The snake looked black, and yellow with red spots on it's tail. Ally thought to herself, and said "wait a minute those aren't natural spots!" "There signs of an allergic reaction." "Oh no!" "That's very, very bad." "Those spots can lead to lethal injuries." "Or even.... death."

Ally crouched low to the ground making sure the snake wouldn't be able to see what she was doing. Ally quickly grabbed the snakes neck and dipped it's tail in water! Seeing the snake up close it looked like the allergic reaction had done some damage. Ally grabbed her EpiPen, and stuck it next to where the rash was. The snake flinched uncontrollably! When Ally let go the snake hissed, and tried to bite her! Ally used a calm voice, and said "calm down this will help you." But the snake was having none of it. Eventually Ally was able to calm the snake down, and Ally noticed the rash had gone away! She released the snake back into the hall. But instead of the snake slithering away the snake looked expectantly at Ally. Hoping for something, or wanting her to follow.

Ally didn't know where she was going, and didn't know what to do. So in the end Ally followed the snake down a deep tunnel in the house. Ally hadn't really noticed the décor until now. The décor was mostly all just black, and gray but some of the furniture was blue, and green as well. Then something shimmered, and glistened. Sparkling in the dark. She picked it up, and examined it closer. It looked like some sort of strange crystal because it was so dark Ally couldn't see the color very well. Finally the snake stopped in front of a strange door. Ally asked the snake "am I supposed to go in there?" "What do I do?" But instead of answering the snake just looked curiously at her. Ally put the crystal in her pocket, and carefully opened the door.

When Ally stepped inside she felt so conflicted. She made a strange sound. Porcupine, half lizard, half dog was standing up, and growling! Ally looked around and saw animals on the floor.... Dead animals. They all had rashes, and cuts on them. Ally now knew what had given the snake the rash. This big mix of a creature. It growled once more, and Ally saw something small that it was growling at. Three small snake babies were covered head to toe with red dots, and rashes. Ally thought to herself now is not the time to question anything I need to save those snakes!" She ran at the monster, and yelled "hey look at me right here!" The monster slowly turned its enormous head, and ran at her! Ally picked of the snake babies, and ran out of the door slamming it behind her! She took out the snakes, and used her healing powers to help them. They all looked much better, but they would need some time to recover. The other snake gratefully nodded her head, and pointed her tail upstairs. So that's where Ally was headed.

Ally went up the stairs, and saw that they were painted gold, and silver! Every other step was gold. Then every other step was silver. When Ally made it all the way up she saw three paths, and a note. again this time it said "Dear Ally if you made it this far I'm impressed I see you have a way with animals. Now I know you must be confused on a few levels, but all questions will be answered soon enough. Now I have a clue for you. Even the strongest man on earth can not hold this. If you figure out the clue then you will be able to figure out which pathway to go onto."

Ally thought "what could the strongest man on earth not carry, or pick up, or hold?" "Maybe something burning hot, or maybe something freezing cold?" "I could check out the path ways." "So there's a path made air of that I will definitely fall through." There's a normal path way with no lights that probably has some sort of evil monster, and then there's water path way, and there's no way to hold your breath that long." "Wait your breath!" "That's the clue so I know which way to go, but how do I get across?" Ally stepped into the water she shivered, and bingo she felt so silly! "She could just use her mermaid form!" "Ha!" "I am so silly!" Ally swam fast through the water, and flung herself out! She panted gasping for breath!

Ally looked around the room, and saw one single thing one tiny word scratched onto a piece of paper. "blow".  Ally repeated "blow?" "Blow what?!" Ally asked to herself. Ally lay down on the ground, and rolled back, and forth. Thinking of what to do now. When Ally stood up she saw dust had come off the floor, and there written was a message. But only part of one. "There was more to it." Then it hit her. "Oh blow on the ground I get it." she thought.

Ally blew as hard as she could on the ground. All the dust swept off, and Ally saw what was written. It read "one simple thing not complicated." "One simple task not complicated." "Face a testing unicorn, and she'll she if your heart is pure." "If so you may move on the what's next." "If not in trouble you'll be yes ma'am." Ally saw the floor open up into a stairwell. She climbed down the steps, and saw a pure white unicorn. With a black mane, and a rainbow colored horn. It's eyes shown black as night. With silver colored moon shaped eyes.

The chains of it's harness fell off, and the unicorn stepped in front of Ally; and stared into her eyes. Ally felt her heart start pounding, and she felt light headed. Her eyes started burning for some reason. When the unicorn finally looked away Ally felt normal again. The unicorn nuzzled Ally, and let Ally stroke it's head. The door on the right of Ally swung open, and Ally continued on her journey.

Ally saw the next note was on the back of the door. One single sentence was scribbled on. It said "This is the last stand last protection." "Last anything." "If you find this is your last clue follow the map." "Return the crystal, and you'll be done." Ally followed the map right up until bump! Ally had run into a solid brick wall without thinking about it, and hit her head. Ally looked around, and inspected everything. Not a single thing except brick, brick, and even more brick. Ally pulled out the strange crystal, and looked at it hoping it would reveal something to her. Right as Ally was about to put it back into her pocket she noticed something. It had something inscribed onto it. It had a password.

Ally read the password allowed "noble." suddenly the wall clicked and opened. To reveal a small passage way. Ally walked along the corridor, and saw beautiful paintings of unicorns, and dragons, and mermaids, and fairies. When she finally came to the end. The word scratched into the wall scared Ally. "sacrifice." "sacrifice?!" Ally thought. "What"!? Ally thought. Then she saw it a needle, and a small vile. "Ally had to sacrifice a drop of blood to make it to the crystal." Ally realized. Ally was hesitant to prick herself, but eventually she came to reason with herself. "It's just tiny drop of blood." "What's the worst that could happened?" Ally thought. So she pricked herself.

The door swung open, but to Ally's surprise A final note. It said "make a choice." "Save a life, or save the crystal?" Ally saw a fragile husky puppy whimpering in the corner, and the she saw the glistening crystal in the distance. But Ally would never save a crystal over an animal. So she raced to the small pup, and healed it. Then a voice came down, and she saw the man who had put this whole thing together. He said "well done Ally!" "No one has ever made it through before." "So for that I award." "Our agreed payment." "The crystal." But because you saved this husky; I award you this. He held out a beautiful galaxy colored box, and inside there were ten bottles. One each with a drop of liquid inside. He said "that the leader of each magic gave one single drop of essence, and enclosed them with me." "To give to someone kind, and just." He said.

"I'll escort you home if you'd like?" The man asked. "I'm alright." Ally said. "But thank you!" "Will the husky be alright?" asked Ally. "Oh he's fine." "He was actually just acting." "He does it every time." laughed the man.

Chapter nine the final customer

Ally leaped in joy! For she knew "this would be her last customer!" she thought. "Then she could finally attend the ball!" "Happening in one week!" She giggled. She raced to the next house on her schedule, but when she got there nothing was in sight nothing. there was no house, no castle, no cottage, no beast, no human, no object, no note just nothing! Ally sat down saddened momentarily, but then hopped right back up! "Come on Ally think!" she said to herself. "Is there some sort of enchantment, or some sort of spell?" Ally thought for a moment. Then yelped! She started walking around when bang! She fell flat on her back; through the trees. That apparently weren't tree's.

A thick smoke was floating all around her. Ally felt strangely tired. Even though a moment ago she was awake, and excited. Though now she felt hot, and weak, and tired! Ally fell to the ground. When she woke up again she was outside of the fog. "What....what happened?" Ally thought. Then she sprang to her feet! "Someone must not want her there." she thought.

Ally ran through the fog as fast as she could trying not to notice if she was tired. Then bam! Ally shot a water blast through the fog. But the fog seemed to close itself quickly. So the second Ally blasted the fog she jumped through it! Ally lay on the floor panting, but she didn't feel sleepy anymore at least. Ally looked around, and hopped to her feet she saw strange people with wings, and horns. They had spears pointed at her! "Who are you?!" one of them asked in a loud terrifying tone. Ally replied "I'm Ally." "I heard someone wanted me to get something for them." "Here...." Ally said

One of the guards shook her head, and said "she's using the queen as an excuse again!" "Wait!" shouted Ally. "I'm not." "At least let me talk to your queen." "Before you throw me in jail, or punish me!" protested Ally. "Fine!" said the female guards. "But if you try anything to harm our queen I will attack you!" Ally walked through the grove of trees, and the meadow. She saw an adorable half fox half bunny. She saw half squirrel half lion, and she asked "um where am I exactly?"

The female guard chuckled "Ha!" "Like you don't know where you are." "Um I don't know where I am!" said Ally. "I'm serious." "Someone called me here because they needed something." "They promised to pay me in return, and then I came here and a bunch of guards like you were surrounding me." said Ally. The female guard looked puzzled for a moment, and then said "are you telling the truth?!" "Yes!!" said Ally. "Yes I am!" The guard said "well the queen kind of said that she had asked someone to come here..." "But we thought they were waulex like us." said the guard. "A what?" asked Ally. The female guard replied "a waulex something combined with two magic animals, and this is Remenis." "The place we live."

When Ally arrived at the palace it looked like nothing she had ever seen before. It was a water palace. With teal, and purple gems. Waves, and frozen water, and then the other side of the palace looked like a forest. With animals, and trees growing there. The guard said "by the way my name is Adele!" "I'm the head guard." "This is the Froxen palace!" said Adele. Ally stepped inside, and the queen was already waiting. She was covered with fur from head to toe. She had long black, and white rabbit ears. Gray deer horns, and cat claws. She gently said "oh Ally you finally arrived!" "Good job captain Adele!" "You will receive a promotion to the next level of guards!" "Ally please come with me." the queen said.

The queen took Ally up the steps. She said "Ally you have tremendous power." "I need you to kill prince Bernard." "He has set fire in the magic land." "He has tried to destroy me, and my people for decades." "I know you are a good compromiser." If you can make a compromise with him, and come back successful." "I will give you what you need." "But if not." "You are ordered to kill him." the queen told Ally. "Ally stared shocked at the queen, and said "I'll try my best." "I'll be back soon." Ally told the queen.

Ally was escorted to prince Bernard by Adele. The trip was fast, but boring and Adele seemed more tense than usual. Even for a guard. She stiffly said "compromise, or kill tell me when your done, and then I'll escort you back safely." "Good luck." Before Ally went inside. She snuck around the back of prince Bernard's castle, and listened closely to see if something was wrong with Adele. She heard a soft voice the one of their queen say "good job I know the prince will be confused, and refuse." "She will have to kill him." "Then I can take over the magic kingdom it will all soon be mine." Ally peaked around the corner Ally stood frozen she saw Adele being chained up. "The queen was no ordinary waulex this was the evil antorope monster in the story she had heard once." "It terrorized the waulex until they surrendered to it." "Becoming the ruler of the land." Ally thought. Ally knew what she had to do. 

When Adele was put into the back of the carriage. Ally leaped inside, and unlocked the chains. She grabbed Adele's arm, and hopped out. Adele shrieked "you could have got hurt!" "What is wrong with you?!" "I needed to save you!" said Ally urgently. "Come here we can make a plan with prince Bernard." "Storm the castle bring down the evil ruler, and then you guys will be free!" "Adele stammered but...but.. how.... how do you know this will work?!" "I don't." Ally said "But we have to try." 

Ally said "come on Adele we have to hurry!" That's when Ally saw Adele had been cut badly... "Go without me!" Adele said sharply. "I'll be fine." "No you won't!" Ally said. She picked Adele up and tried to use her magic but it was all used up already. So she had one more option... She barged through the castle doors, and yelled "prince Bernard I need your help please!" Prince Bernard stepped out of his thrown, and said "who are you why have you come?" Ally said. "My friend needs help!" I can explain why I'm here and who I am." "But please help my friend first!" Prince Bernard took one look at Adele, and yelled for his medical crew.

When Adele was safe in the hospital part of the castle prince Bernard said "now tell me what's going on." Ally explained the whole story, and then finally said "I need help overthrowing this evil queen leading the waulex!" "Can you please help me?!" asked Ally. Prince Bernard said "of course." "But I can only do so much." "Your going to be the one that takes her down." "Okay." said Ally. "I'll try." "Will my friend Adele be okay?" asked Ally. "She'll be fine." "She's safe, and she will be healed by our best doctors. said prince Bernard. "okay." said Ally. "let's go!" Ally shhouted.

Ally, and prince Bernard, and his army charged through the waulex village to the castle. Bernard, and his army held off the frightened villagers. Ally walked up the steps to face the evil ruler. She said "how could you do that to your most loyal guard?! "How could you want to take over the magic kingdom?!" The ruler said "so you figured it out?" "You may call me Bati!" "I am the monster from the lava caves in dragon mountain." she said. 

Ally growled "you have to come with me silently, or I will have to attack you!" "Come with me peacefully, and I won't have to harm you!" Bati just laughed. She said "you harm me?!" "I think you should be worried about me harming you!" Bati sharpened her, claws and swiped vigorously at Ally. Ally used all her force and with her most enormous blast of water as she could. She shot it at Bati! Ally felt as though she couldn't breath. Bati ran at Ally! Deer horns at the ready! Ally jumped over Bati, and turned into her mermaid form. Ready for the attack! 

Ally created a shield of water protecting her from the horns. Bati seemed furious! She sent blasts of shadow magic towards Ally, but Ally doged them all. She did something she didn't want the do. She promised herself she would never do. She froze the water inside Bati. Just long enough to lock her in chains. Then she unfroze Bati. The monster screamed, and howled at Ally, but  Ally backed away shaking. She probably wounded herself more than Bati. It was forbidden to ever do something like that unless of an emergency. This was for an emergency, but Ally couldn't help but feel guilty. 

Ally took Bati down the steps in chains, and declared the battle over. The waulex shrieked "what did you do?!" But Ally was able to calm them down a bit. When she told them that their queen was fine but would be in jail for a very, very, very, long time! Prince Bernard took Bati into his most secure dungeon, and thanked Ally for her help. In return he gave her just enough payment, so that she could get her ticket. To the ballroom dance.

Before Ally left she went to check on Adele to make sure she was okay. When she came into the room Adele did something that amazed her. She came over and gave Ally a tight hug before handing her an amulet. "Take this." she said. "You might need it plus it will remind you that you helped someone." "Thank you." said Adele. But Ally said. "No thank you said Adele!" They hugged one more time before Ally hit the road. To get her ticket, and journey to the ballroom dance.

Chapter ten the ticket

Ally traveled along the winding road twisting, and turning through the path. Her stomach churning! "This was the moment she had been waiting for her entire whole life!" "Of course there was still a very long journey ahead of her." "Before she actually reached the ballroom." Ally had only heard rumors about the ball." "But once someone came in they were horrifying, scary, mean and cruel afterwards it was scary, but this only ever happened with some people." "Other people came out happier, kinder, confident than before!"

Ally hoped that she would get to the ball on time. When Ally arrived at the ticket station the man there said "cash please." Ally handed him all the cash she had earned over the years. The man handed her a ticket. Gave her a dress, and said "in case you lose your ticket take ten pictures please." Ally did as the man said, and he also said "one more thing everyone is supposed to be handed this letter it's for an.... interesting prize after the ball." "Good luck journey on." He said.

Ally walked for about an hour before taking a break to stop, and rest. She took out her letter she got, and carefully opened it. Making sure not to rip it. The letter had a list of information she had to fill out.

Ally filled all the information out making sure she didn't miss anything. Then she was about to set up her tent. When boing! boing! boing! A giant sign lit up, and started flashing. It said "HOTEL Mutzle." "okay." said Ally maybe I'll try this hotel here. Ally walked toward the huge hotel, and gasped in awe. it was so tall, and had pools, and hot tubs, and everything you could imagine. When Ally walked inside a tour guide came over and started talking furiously fast. "Hey how ya doin?" "Well that's great!" "Anyway this place has everything, everything, everything!" "Hey you want to go to the pool?!" "Yes, good, great come on!" The host said.

"Um well I was just hoping to spend the night before hitting the road again." Ally said. 'Ok ok ok!" said the host. "Come with me your room's right here!" "Have a good night sleep!" "Night night!" said the host. Ally had a strange feeling twisting inside of her. She sneaked out of her room, and walked down the long hall. She saw a room that said "off limits." Ally was eager to find out what was inside. But when she went in she wished she hadn't come in at all.

Animals, and magic creatures in cages! Were hanging from the ceiling. Ally silently froze all the cages then made them burst open! All the creatures scattered everywhere uncontrollably. Ally whistled so loud that all the creatures came to attention. They all looked at Ally so she blasted a hole in the side of a wall. Then all the animals followed Ally went outside, and Ally waited for the animals to come out safely. Then Ally closed the door as quite as she could. At this point Ally was ready to freeze this whole hotel to bits, but she kept her calm in case she found something important.

When Ally found the head of the hotel she tried to find a way into the computer, but it wasn't working. So then she resorted to looking for the manger, but he was no where to be seen either. Then she heard a whimper from a cage in the corner! Ally came over and almost screamed in sadness! They had locked up a baby fairy. Ally immediately unlocked the cage, and used the last of her magic to heal her. The fairy whispered to Ally "I lost my mommy can you help me?!" Ally nodded "where did they put your mommy honey?!" Ally asked. "They put her in the attic." replied the fairy.

Ally climbed all the way up the long ladder, and saw a man draining magic from the fairy mother! Ally suddenly recognized the man as her host! The fairy turned the color gray with her magic drained. Ally was horrified! "What.......what did you just do?!" Ally asked in dismay. The man turned around and smiled, but it wasn't a happy smile it was crooked. Evil, and  grim he said "hello Ally now I know you must have some mixed feelings after seeing this." "But now that you have we cant ever let you leave." he said. 

Ally said" your a monster!" The man said "I simply need sources of hmm energy you could say." Ally backed away from him. But he was faster than he looked, and backed her into a corner. Ally had only one choice left. She punched him. He looked ferocious, and dangerous. But Ally had gotten just enough time to hide, and grab the fairy! She gave some of her magic to the poor creature, and color came back to it. For a moment the fairy just sat there phased. But a second latter she fluttered to the air, and used a sleeping spell on the man! The baby fairy, the mother fairy, and Ally all ran outside! Ally saw the faeries fly off, but then clink one of them threw something to Ally! It was a bottle of pixie dust. Ally didn't have time to wonder she had to get back on the road now!

Ally set up her blue tent. Set down her sleeping bag, and from inside she looked up at the sky. Wondering "what it would be like to fall in love." "What it would be like to have a family?" she asked herself. "She would find all of that soon enough!" she said to herself. "She just had to make it to the ball, and then her dream would come true!" She thought.

Chapter eleven on the road

Ally crossed a long bridge over a lake. It was hot, and humid! Ally could feel her skin burning up. Ally glared at the sun! With her mind she demanded it to get colder, but the sun burned bright as ever. Not moving; unchanging. Ally suddenly yelled. She yelled so loud that black birds took off, and flew away! Ally slumped down hating the sun beating down on her!

Ally thought she could dive into the river, but then she saw there were large sharp rocks in the bottom. It was either jumping into rocks, or being in this furious heat! Ally kept walking, and tried not to think of the heat. Instead she imagined the cold arctic ocean. Where there were icebergs, and polar bears. But no matter how hard she tried she couldn't forget the the boiling heat of sun rays! Finally Ally sat down in the grass, and closed her eyes for a quick cat nap before she hit the road. Maybe it would be cooler when she woke up.

When Ally opened her eyes again it was much colder. She was in the grass with water. It was flooding everywhere! A thunderstorm had broken a near by dam. Flooding was exploding, and it took Ally a second to figure out what had happened. Then she remembered she had to block the dam!

Ally ran as fast as she could with her boney legs. She felt herself breaking into a hot sweat! "But she didn’t care." "All she needed, and wanted to do was to get to that dam and save all the animals there!" "Also people in the way of the dam!" "She saw that the water was just flooding out, and she knew "she couldn’t stop all the water easily." "She would first need to evacuate everyone out before she could even stop the dam." she thought.

Ally saw a whole family of deer about a block away from the water! She dove in front of the animals, and froze the water! She grabbed all of the family of deer, and carefully one at a time got them all to safety. Then slosh water crashed over her! As she tried to use her power she was too exhausted, and tired to be able to fight it. When it came in great gulps it sprayed her. Ally could feel the pain in her face already. Spreading through her like a virus! 

Ally came to her senses, and jumped away from the water. Then she froze all the water! So could see. Ally picked up her pace, and saw a hole full of tiny weasel's. Ally picked all of them up making sure none of them were injured. Then she went to the heart of the flooding, and with all her strength she blasted the water back. Into the dam, and froze it all! Then Ally swayed back, and forth. Then bump! She fell to the ground!

When Ally woke up she was on a ledge! Below a large cliff. Ally felt sore everywhere, and was very dizzy! When she stood up her legs wobbled, and eventually gave out! Ally hung onto a large rock, and pulled herself up. Her powers were drained, and she couldn’t use them till the next day. So with all her effort she held onto the large rock, and slowly made her way back up the steep cliff. She only had a few more miles till she made it to the ball.

Ally finally made it back up to solid ground. So she sat down thinking what to do next. Ally took a second to gather her wit’s, and then picked up the phone that the man at the station gave her. When she was getting her ticket. Ally looked in her pocket to make sure everything was safe, and put in the right place. Then Ally called for the nearest taxi to pick her up, and take her the resting point. Then she would continue on.

Ally got in contact with a taxi driver who would be glad to pick her up, but he had another passenger with him. Who had called him first. So it would take two nights to make all the stops. When Ally got into the taxi car she saw a young lady that looked to be about fifteen years old. She had long blue wavy hair with a streak of green on the tips. She had hazel gray eyes. She looked very very tall for her age, and was frowning. At first when Ally first got in the taxi the girl didn’t seem to notice her. 

Ally felt mildly annoyed that the girl completely ignored her, but then the girl whipped her head around, and said "are you a witch?!" "How did you get here you monster?!" Now Ally felt mildly angry, and said "I got in here when the taxi stopped, and then you ignored me!" The girl sat straight up, and to Ally’s surprise started crying, and she said "I’m so sorry!" "It’s just my friend is on a dangerous mission, and I’ve been so worked up and distracted lately."  

"Oh um it’s okay." Ally comforted the girl. "Um what’s your name?" "What do you like to do for fun?" asked Ally. "Let’s get your mind off this okay. said Ally. The girl said "my names Angelica, and I like to do competitive swimming." "Competitions ok that’s really cool!" "My names Ally ,and I love to do aerial gymnastics, and preform in front of people. said Ally

"So it sounds like your having a hard time right now." "Do you want to talk about it? asked Ally. "Yes that would be nice." said Angelica. Then Angelica went into a crazy story about this war. That was going on and how her friend snuck out to run away, and find help! While Angelica herself fled fearing that she might be harmed in the home that she lived in. "Woah!" said Ally. "That’s horrible!" "I’m so sorry that happened to you!" "But your safe, and your friend sounds like a brave young lady!" "She’ll be fine." Ally comforted.

A few minutes later the taxi driver said "that Angelica’s stop had arrived." So Ally said "good bye to her new found friend, and wished her the best of luck!" The taxi driver said "get comfortable love." "It’ll be while before we make it to your stop." "Okay." Ally said, and she closed her eyes. Then she quietly fell soft asleep.

Ally was startled awake with a bump! Bump! Thump! Ally looked outside the window, and saw she was able to walk to the resting point from here. Ally said "wow!" "How long was I asleep? she asked. But there was no answer from the driver. "Ummm hello?!" Ally asked. Ally looked in the front of the seat, and screamed! The driver was gone, and there was no one driving the taxi!

Ally automatically opened her car door, and jumped out! Ally supposed she could just walk the rest of the way, but something in her heart told her to look back. Make sure the driver was alright. She had a creeping suspicion that something very bad had happened to him. So she walked back a few miles, and called out. Just when she was going to head back toward the resting point she heard a whimper!

Ally walked to are the sound, and saw the taxi man lying on his back! Ally tried to ask him what had happened, but he couldn’t talk. He was out of breath, and it seemed to Ally that the man had broken his leg and hand. So she helped him to his feet then walked to the resting point carefully. Ally heard a low growling sound coming from the forest. The taxi driver’s eyes filled with panic! So Ally picked up the pace, and got far away from the wood.

Ally arrived at the point just on time as  scheduled. Ally laid the man down on the ground, and took out a key she’d been handed. She opened the door, and saw a wide golden hall with beautiful paintings and beds. Ally took the taxi driver to the nearest bed, and felt that her powers had not quite come back to her yet. She could make a few splashes of wat, but it would not be the same or as powerful as if she had her full strength. So she looked for a first aid kit, and found a bandage, a make shift cast, medicine, and an inhaler. 

Ally wrapped the man’s hand, and leg in a cast. Then put a breathing mask on his face. He would need more medical attention, but this could work for now. In the mean time Ally decided to explore the house rather than worry right now. So she went upstairs into a huge room. To see what might be there. Ally found crystals, a magic center, a healing center, a Game Center, and bed room corners. But she couldn’t find a phone anywhere!

That was alright with Ally, because in two days a whole squad of people would be here to pick her up. Also anyone else at the resting point. Hopefully they would get this man to a doctor soon…soon…..soon. Ally tried hard not to think about it. But she couldn’t help but wonder what happened in the woods.

Two days went quicker than Ally could have imagined. She spent the days getting ready, and helping the taxi driver. When Ally heard a knock on the door she was eager to open it. Then when the squad got there they promised to take care of the injured man. Ally dreamily stepped into the carriage. waited about thirty minutes, and then there was a pause in the road. A deep growling came from the forest again. The head guard said "halt!" Then a beautiful glowing bunny stepped out of the trees. It was yellow, and purple. Some of its fur was white. It was also the biggest bunny Ally had ever seen. It also had sharp claws too. The lead guard pulled out his riffle and aimed at it.  

Ally jumped and moved the riffle to the right. The guard started yelling at Ally, but she didn’t care! She wasn’t going to let anyone hurt a magic creature. No matter what! The guard tried to take aim again, but Ally pushed the riffle out of the way. Till all the bullets went out. The giant rabbit drew nearer, and nearer. It growled a deep low growl. It looked as though the rabbit wanted to eat the guard, and if Ally was being completely honest she wouldn’t blame the rabbit.

While everyone else panicked, and hid Ally stepped out, and held up her hand. The rabbit sniffed it. Then licked it. Then sat down so Ally could get onto its back, and ride on it. Ally jumped up so high she thought she wouldn’t make it onto the rabbits back! But she did, and fed it loads of sugar cubes, carrots, and lettuce. Then with that it started taking her toward the ballroom. Little did Ally know in a few short days. Her life was about to change forever.

Chapter twelve a secret

Ally hopped off the giant bunny, and waved bye to him! She fed him her last few sugar cubes. Ally saw in front of her the biggest, and tallest building in the world. It had ninety floors all different colors, and shades! Ally saw the first five floors. The first floor was white. The second floor was pure gold. The third floor was purple. The fourth floor was violet, and the fifth floor was blue.

As Ally walked up to the long steps a small child came out from the doors looking contently at Ally. The little girl said "come fourth child." Ally felt a bit awkward being called a child in front of a smaller child, and then the little girl stepped forward. She gently tapped Ally on the head, and said "you will stay here a week." "You have a job." "The prince is looking for a princess." "You may be the one." "Hand in your ticket." Ally hesitantly handed her ticket to the kid, and she continued. "Your other goal... is to keep everyone safe from the girl Nocturn." she said.

"Who's Nocturn?" Ally asked. The girl said "you'll find out soon enough." The girl beckoned to follow, so Ally walked behind the little girl and went inside the ball room. She said "Ally please hand me the form you filled out." Ally handed the girl her envelope she filled out. The girl simply said "go to the third floor." "Ally you will be called here soon." And with that the girl turned away. "One more thing." she added. "Follow all the directions to a tee, but make sure to read all of them first."

Ally stepped inside her room, and saw all the walls were purple, and covered with glitter. The floor was a light purple, and her bed was a huge puffy cushion with amethyst covers. Ally saw a list of directions taped onto the door. It read "dear Ally read all the directions and then do them." 

"#1 do all the dress and cloth cleaning"

"#2 scrub the rooms"

"#3 sweep all the floors"

"#4 dust the walls"

"#5 take out the trash"

"#6 do pet cleaning"

"#7 mop the floors"

"#8 cook a feast"

"#9 spray down all the tables"

"#10 good job if your reading all of this." "Now all you do is write love, creativity, and compassion." "Then sign your name on the back, and dont do any of the other directions." 

Ally did as she was told wrote what it told her to write, and then didn't do any of the other directions. She folded up the directions, and left them on her bedside table. She took out her dress it had tiny pieces of amethyst, and purple opal. There were lace's on the back with holes it was just the right size for her. The dress was a tear layered dress the was so long it took up half the hall way of her room. The colors of the dress were all different shades of purple, and the last layer was rainbow. Their was a mask to go along with it. There were white pearls with golden stripes on the mask, and the rest of it was bright blue. Ally put the dress, and mask on. It felt so soft, and fluffy, and when she looked in the mirror she hardly recognized herself.

Ally saw a slip of paper go under her door. Ally picked it up it said " find out the truth why people are coming and getting a horrible experience." "While others are having the time of their lives."

-Nocturn

"Wait what?!" Ally stammered. "How am I supposed to find that out?!"

Ally heard a knock at her door. A young man dressed in a black suite, and white tie. Said "ma'am please come with me." "It's time for the ball to start." he said. "Ok." Ally said. "Let's go!" Ally stepped out side into the hall way, and into a long stairway. As Ally started to walk down the stairs went backwards. "Um?" Ally said. "What am I supposed to do here the young?" Ally asked.  The man said "sometimes things are not always what they seem." "Maybe there's a different way to go down."

Ally saw something imprinted onto the railing. It said "slide down." Ally did as told, and slid down the narrow railing. Hoping she wouldn't fall.

Chapter thirteen The ball

Ally slid down the spiral railing it was gold, and brown. It felt smooth, and slick. As Ally was sliding she felt like she was going as fast as a car! Ally saw the railing about to end, so she hopped up and off! The side landing on the ground. The ball around her was teal, and baby blue. It had silver outlining the walls, and floors.

When Ally stepped a foot into the ballroom golden lights lit up! They were stars in the night sky. The girl from before walked in and had a warm smile. She said "Hello ladies' and gents. I am so glad to see you all here tonight! I know some of you will go home unhappy, while others will be bursting with joy. But even so I still thank each and everyone of you for coming! The prince will try to find his bride, and there will be magic in the air."

The girl announced "everyone please pick a dancing partner, and begin." Ally saw other young ladies', and gentlemen. Who were all stepping forward, and taking each others hands. Ally had no idea who to pick though. She'd never done this before. She saw a lonely man standing in the corner. He looked to afraid to go out and talk to anyone. So Ally went and approached him.  She was wondering if he would like to dance with her.

The man saw Ally coming near him and he followed slowly. Ally said "hello." "Would you like to dance with me?" "I'm all alone, and I don't have a partner." "The young man simply smiled gently at Ally. Then he nodded. Ally took his hands, and music started playing. It was Ally's favorite song. "perfect." Ally started to do the waltz, but then when the song ended. Shake it off started playing, and everyone started to do the tango....
