This is dedicated to the animals whose homes are destroyed everyday by deforestation. 

Hi! My name is Max Monkey and I live in The Amazon Rainforest with my mother and two sisters.

I'm Mallory and I'm Maggie.

Our forest used to feature an excess of dense, full trees.

Now, I am able to count on my two hands how many trees make up out home.

Mother was the first one to find the sign last year. She said it is because of deforestation so the humans can use the trees as their homes. That's silly that the humans want to live in the trees like us.

No Max, humans do not live in trees. The humans cut down tons of our trees to be used to build houses, make lumber, and to make space for farms. 

But, we need these trees to stay away from the predators who can't climb!

I know! Deforestation hurts all the animals who use trees as their habitat. They are forced to find new trees to make them their homes.
