Alex, where do we get our food and energy from? 

Well Mo, us plants get it from a process called photosynthesis. 

Oh. What does that mean? 

Lets go on a trip so I can show you!

As they walked, Alex started to explain what Photosynthesis was. 

Photosynthesis is what we use to change the energy we get from the sun into energy for us!

Look up there is the big energy castle, where on top is a huge solar panel to attract the sun.

What is all the sunlight used for? 

The sunlight is collected in the energy castle then goes through photosynthesis. This then changes the light energy received from the sun into chemical energy, called Glucose.
