It was the second day I attended my new school. Everything started as usual at home.

When I arrived at school it was different. All my classmates looked at me strangely.
Is there something wrong with me?

I was so upset. Honestly, I didn’t have friends in my new school. All of them already had a circle of friends. I thought I couldn’t join them. I just enjoyed my second day only by myself.

I started the day by force. First, I just stayed in my seat. I read a book while I listened to music through my earphones. Few minutes left, and my class was empty. I was shocked, I didn’t know where they went. Suddenly, one of my classmates came to me. She is Nay. She was very friendly to me.

Why do you only stay in your seat?

She told me that we had to go to the schoolyard to do sports lessons. I didn’t realize that it was Tuesday which meant I was getting sports lessons.

Then, my friend and I went to the schoolyard. In the schoolyard, she explained to the teacher that I didn’t bring sports clothing. She introduced me to the teacher that I was a new student in this school, it was my second day in this school, so I didn’t know more about how to do sports lessons. She tried to convince our teacher, then the teacher let me join his class. I was saved.

CANTEEN

Next, our sports lessons had done. I had break time for 15 minutes. I tried to go to the canteen, but I didn’t find it. Nay came to me and said,

If you are confused, you don't need to hesitate to ask me or other friends. Of course, we will help you.

CANTEEN

Nay called all of our classmates, she wanted to introduce me to them.

Hey guys, come on! Here is our new friend!

I didn’t expect that they were very friendly. They were also funny people. I guessed wrong about them.
Then, the break time was over.

Let's change our clothes first!

We went back to class together.
Then, I continued studying in class. I got an English subject. The teacher told us to work in a group. I just stayed on my seat and waited for my friends to invite me to join their group. I wasn’t confident.

Then, some of my friends came to me. They asked me to join them. I felt so lucky as a new student in this class. I had so many friends on my second day in my new school.

Ten months in my new school went by fast. I enjoyed my new school, my friends and the teachers too. I couldn’t believe that I could adapt to the new school environment. What a blessed person as a new student in a new school. I was so excited.
