Jessie was really excited about the project that her teacher had just assigned to the class. 

"For your project, I want you to make a map of Washington," her teacher explained. 

Jessie couldn't wait to get started on the project because she loved geography.

At home, Jessie began to feel stumped. 

She realized that she hadn't asked her teacher any clarifying questions about what cities, rivers, and other geographical landmarks to include on her map. 

She decided that instead of asking, she would do what she thought was right. 

The next day at school, Jessie proudly displayed her map, however, her teacher didn't seem impressed. 

"Jessie, why did you only include 3 major cities and one river in this whole map of Washington?" her teacher asked. "You will only receive 50% on this assignment". 

Jessie quickly felt discouraged and wish she had asked more questions.
