🌰
Oh! Hi! I didn’t see you there! The name’s Roo. I’m a American crow. A Corvus brachyrhynchos. Confusing right!
I’m here to tell you about the word’s smartest bird: crows! There are 40 breeds, but we are going to talk about my breed.
🌰

Size
The American crow can grow up to 17.5 inches.

Habitat
The American crow lives all over North America and prefers open areas with trees nearby.

Intelligence
Crows are very smart. For instance, if a crow encounters a mean human, it will teach other crows the face, and we remember lots of things.

Diet
We eat anything, insects, snails, earthworms, snakes, shellfish, roadkill, garbage, eggs of other birds, and much more!

Speaking of food…

Gulp!

I always love a good snake!

Anyways…

Breeding
A crow will leave it’s nest for a mate, but will come back with its mate to help protect the family chicks.
