My name is Aaron and I have a learning disability. I am going to explain what it is like to study, and how you guys can help me!

This is my room, and it doesn't have a lot in it because I get distracted very easily. I need more peace and quiet to focus than most kids, and that is OK!

This is my classroom. I have special accommodations because of my learning disabilities. I am going to show you some of my friends that are typical and do not have any accommodations.

This is Andrea and Jasmine. They are taking a test that is 40 questions. They can take it in the regular classroom, and only have 1 hour to complete it.

Since I have special accommodations, I can take the test with more privacy in this room, and with more time!. This way, I have less distractions!

This is my guidance counselor. He has given me an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) so that I can have the specialized accommodations in the classroom.

This is a typical classroom. This setting is overwhelming for me! It is harder for me to focus when there is not individualized instruction from the teacher!

This is my tutor. I do so much better when she explains things to me. I like the help and individual setting.
