Hello. I am 18 and my name is Princes Abigail III. Stupid right. My dad is King Damion IIII. My mom is Queen Abigail II. It sucks how we have the same name. Every day I'm stuck in my room (which is full of sparkling tinsel and hundreds of the same colored pink flowers) while my parents predetermine my destiny. When I ask them what that means they say "your KING!" and then they start nudging me happily as if I care. I give them a half smile then turn down the hall to the royal gardens.
Chapter One

As I open the doors a blast of ninety-degree air ruffes my dress (which I hate). I take one long look at the pretty pink flowers,

and then sit down on the wet muddy ground destroying my flowery pink dress. I think to myself, "I'm running away today."
Chapter two

I get up and sprint through the halls, careful not to let any of the guards see me in my muddy dress. I turn a corner and open the door to the pantry. I need food for my long journey. I grab some beans, bread, and some old jerky (used for the servants), and then I take one big armful of whatever was on the middle shelf, not caring to see what. I grab a sack, used by the knights to transport gold from the dragon's lair, and sprinted out of the pantry. I run down the hall to the head maid's room (that's the only room facing the enchanted wood that has easy access to the window) and hoped she wasn't inside.
I opened the door and thankfully she wasn't inside. I walked over to the window and opened it. I took one little look at her room, then took a deep breath, and jumped. Her room was about 10 feet from the ground, and I was 5ft 4. I hit the ground with a thud. Of course, there were some pricker bushes where I landed. Lucky me. The spines dug into my skin and scratched big long scratches.
Once I was out I took a long look at the forest. The trees seemed to glow with small iridescent floating lights, and the smell seemed so eathy, that I wanted to gulp it in over and over and over again.

I looked around a bit more than entered the woods. Once I came further in the wood seemed even more magical. I threw off my crown then stepped on it with a crack. I felt like I was in a trance. I felt soooooo sleeeeeeeepy... it wouldn't huuurt to take a rest....
Chapter Three

Once I woke up I forgot where I was. Then I remembered. I ran away from the castle. My vision was blurry for a minute and I could almost make out a figure... it was a man of some sort, wearing brown and green. "Hello?" I said. "Hi." He answered. "Who are you?" "Jayce Robinhood." "Nice to meet you." "My name is..." Abigail is a kind of prissy princess's name (in my opinion), so I said "Katie." Technically I wasn't lying because my middle name is Katherine.
"Nice to meet you, Princess Katie. Welcome to The Enchanted Wood." "How do you know I'm from the royal family?" "Well, I found your smashed-up crown on the ground, and your dress is still on. If you don't want people to know who you are I suggest you get changed into this." when he said this he held up a camouflage outfit, mostly consisting of green. "Ummmmmm... okay?" I said, completely unsure of changing near this strange Robinhood man, in the middle of the forest, and I still don't know why he brought me here.

But, I put on the clothes anyway, with the cover of a rock, and I took my hair out of the braids. I rubbed off all the mascara and lipstick, too. I looked okay, I determined, using a puddle as a mirror. I looked like this:

"Looking nice princes!" He exclaimed. "Thank you, Robinhood." "Can I take you to my village, my laddie?" "Ummmm... I guess?" I was so bewildered by this whole experience that I said "yes" to everything. If he asked me if I wanted to jump off a cliff with him, I would probably say "I guess so," without even knowing what I signed up for. "Off we go then into the wild blue yonder!" at this he grabbed my arm firmly and pulled me into a jog. "Can you let go of my arm?" I said. He didn't let go so I asumed he didn't hear me. "Can you let go of my arm?!" I tried again.
Surprisingly he tightened his grip. This made me annoyed. "Can you let go of my arm, your highness?" I said sarcastically. "No." He replied for the first time. Back in the castle, I was always taught to be polite. One of the many rules of being polite is never to yell anything anytime. Right now I really didn't feel like being polite. "LET GO OF MY ARM YOU DIRTBAG!" He stopped running. "Jeez. Sorry! You're not as much of a prissy princess as I thought you were." "Finally. You left a mark on my wrist. Next time let me walk on my own for goodness sake." "Okay.
As long as we get to my village." He said worriedly. "Why do you want to go to your village so badly?" "Oh. I uh... I don't know. I just want you to meet... some uh... friends of mine.. yes friends." I gave him a doubting look. I wasn't so sure about his "friends".

Chapter Four
We started for his village. He said it will be about midnight when we get there. I asked him where I would stay and he said I would stay at the gingerbread inn. I asked him what that was and he said "You'll see." In one hour the sky darkened and it started to pour. "Oh great," I said sarcastically. "I needed a light shower." "Don't worry. We are getting close." It was kind of hard to hear him because the rain muffled his voice.

We came to dense woods with many many trees and moss that seemed to glow. "We're here." He breathed. "We're where?" "Look up." I, of course, looked up. It looked like a whole town of tree houses. There were little cottages suspended by the trees. Little wooden plank bridges hung from tree to tree, decorated with fairy lights and white lillies. Giant wooden planks were held up by strong tree branches. "Well, come on then!" He got on this wooden elevator thingy.

He lead me to this tree house that looked like it was made out of candy. We ran indoors. "Hello. How can I help you today?" Said a lady at the front desk. "I would like to pay for a room for this young lady." Said Robinhood. "There are four types of rooms: the small room is for 300 caps (caps is the currency), The medium room is for 600 caps, the large is for 1,000, and the luxury room is for 2,000." The front desk lady said. "I'll go for the sma-" I was cut off. "I'll pay for a luxury room for this beautiful guest." "Thanks, but..." "That'll be 2,000 caps, sir."
