Once upon a time in the forest an owl was sitting in a tree and was howling. Then she took off into the trees to look for food.
Her search was to find dinner for her baby owlets.
Michelle the owl came back to sit in the tree which was surrounded by feathers and twigs.

Mom fed her babies and cuddled them to sleep.
She kept them safe and the bond was an amazing close relationship.
Michelle went on to sit with her owlets to continue to keep them safe and secure from the entire environment.
The only discomfort was that another animal could prey and attack them. What other animal could be in danger in the forest?
The nest day as Michelle the owl was sitting in the tree watching the ground she then discovered Peter the rabbit in a hole that was surrounded by grass and twigs.

Michelle said excuse me who are you? And where is your family? Peter the rabbit looked up and said to Michelle the owl I am Peter the rabbit. What is your name?

Well, I am Michelle the owl and I am sitting in a tree with my baby owlets. We have just finished breakfast and we looked forward to another day full of adventure.

Peter the rabbit then continued with his day by eating some grass and flowers for his breakfast. Now what exactly was Peter the rabbit going to do today?

What kinds of adventures may he encounter?
Will we go to the pond or watch a sunset?
Or maybe take a long nap?
What will Peter the rabbit do?

Would he hop across a field with daisies. Or maybe he needed a nap and he would relax for awhile.

In the afternoon, Tweety the bird was sitting high up in a cedar tree. She was singing a lovely song.

Tweety was however alone sitting in the tree. She had gone for a long trip flying across the sky. Now she had come back to her nest to rest and eat.

Michelle the owl and Peter the rabbit were involved in a lengthy conversation.

Tweety bird was excluded from the direct conversation and she sat in her nest. She did not interrupt Michelle or Peter's conversation but rather she sat in her nest and listened to them talk to each other.

Maybe Michelle the owl and Peter the rabbit should have talked to Tweety bird. By not including her did it hurt Tweety bird's feelings? Or did it effect her emotions? Or is Tweety bird shy or maybe quiet?

But if you want to make a new friend you need to be polite, kind and include them to not be rude or say hurtful things.

By using hurtful words it can effect their emotions, thoughts and feelings. Tweety bird did not know how to join in the conversation.

It did not seem like they were friendly or willing to include her into their conversation. As a result, Tweety bird was quiet.

What overall lessons can be learnt? Even when meeting new people it is best to be nice. Michelle the owl and Peter the rabbit were new friends. And they did not notice that Tweety was in a nest and she was excluded.

Maybe next time introduce yourself by saying hello. Be friendly. Be kind. Use polite words. This way it does not hurt someone's feelings.
