There once lived a grasshopper. His name was Dawn. Dawn was very lonely.

One day he discovered that he never had any friends. At school no one wanted to sit next to him.

One day while everyone was playing Dawn was looking for food. He saw them playing and decided to join in.

That night Dawn's mom said " Where is our food?" Dawn said " I got caught up playing and forgot it."

That night his mom grounded him. Dawn was so sad and lonely.

The next day his mom let him go back to school. At recess he discovered that there was someone new.

He didn't want the new kid to feel lonely. So he said " Hi! What's your name?

The worm said " That his name was Carter." They sat together at lunch and at science.

One day there was a big flood. Everyone was so scared. Dawn and Carter both swam up to take a breath.
