Adaptive Learning:
I have used adaptive learning in my classroom before with great success. It allows students who are advanced the opportunity to move forward quickly through material they already grasp and provides an opportunity for extra time and reinforcement for those who do not yet grasp that material. In a history class, often students will struggle with one piece of the puzzle, but that piece is rarely the same for all students.
Content Subject and Grade Level:
This lesson plan is designed for a high school World History class.
Unit Objective:
Rise of Totalitarianism and WWII (1930s-1945): Students will analyze the rise of fascism and totalitarianism after World War I, the causes and course of World War II, and the military, economic, and political effects of the war.
