I am Callie the Catcus and I live in a hot desert. The way I survive in the desert is by my long roots that go deep inside the soil for absorbing water, my spines help me collect water, and I have a waxy coating to help me retain water.

We are Fiona and Frankie the twin wildflowers! The way we survive is by adapting to our environment. We absorb as much food as possible and store it in our stems.

My name is Ryan the Rhino and I live in South Africa! My lips are tools that help me grasp wood and strip leaves and bark from woody plants. I use mud to help keep the insects off me and protect myself from the sun. My horn I use for protection against my predators. I am also really good at hearing and smelling.

My name is Leo the Lion and I live in Africa! The way I survive is by adapting to the heat and dry conditions. I have sharp claws, and a long tongue and my senses are stronger than humans. I go hunting at night with my pride so we can sneak up on our prey.

I am Penny the penguin and I live in Antarctica! The way I survive the cold is that I have a lot of feathers that keep me waterproof and warm. My webbed feet help me swim fast so I can catch my food and swim away from my predators. It may look like I can fly because I have wings but I can't.

I am William the Whale and I live in the ocean! The way I survive in the ocean is that I have blubber that helps me stay warm during the colder month. I have excellent hearing that helps me locate my food and helps me navigate my way through the ocean. I have a huge heart that can pumps blood through my body faster which helps me breathe better underwater.
