Messi's Goal Helps Keep Argentina World Cup Hopes Alive

    Lionel Messi just helped keep Argentina's world cup bid alive after scoring over Mexico. In that match, Argentina won 2-0 over Mexico on Saturday, November 26, 2022.

    First, Argentina lost over Saudi Arabia in the opening match of Group C. In the next match, two Argentine players namely Messi and Enzo Fernandez managed to score goals. The first goal was scored by Messi with a low shot from 20 yards in the 64th minute. The second goal was added by Enzo Fernandez in three minutes from time.

    "The first game cost us," said Messi. "We knew that we had to win today, that another World Cup was starting for us and we knew how to do it." "It was a tough game to pick ourselves up for because Mexico play well."

Hello, I'm Andy. Three months ago, I was chosen to be one of the basketball players to take part in a basketball competition. Unfortunately, I had an accident. The accident made me get some medicine and took several months to recover. 

On that day, I went to school at 7 o'clock in the morning. I studied until 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I followed learning activities excitedly. Before going back home, I attended basketball training at the school basketball court. I attended basketball every day to prepare the competition. I joined the basketball team because I like basketball.

Hi Dion. Let's come to the basketball training!

While attending basketball training, I injured my ankle. My coach and my friends took me to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctor told me to rest and not play basketball during the recovery period.  I had to use crutch.

Hi Andy, I'm sorry to say. You can not join the competition because you have ankle injured and please take a rest.

I felt so sad. Because the doctor told me I couldn't play basketball, that meant I couldn't follow basketball competetition. At that time, I couldn't control myself, I blamed myself for not being careful during basketball practice. I have disappointed my coach and my friends. I was jealous when I saw my friends practicing basketball while I only could watch them from the sidelines.

I feel so sad. I was supposed to be there, practicing with my team

During the recovery period, I went to the hospital once a week and ate nutritious food. Even though I was recovering, I still came to the school. My friends helped me when I faced trouble at school. They helped me bring my bag, and gave me some food.  They cared about me so much.

After three months, finally, the doctor told me that my ankle had recovered. I no longer needed to use the crutch. The doctor said that I could play basketball again but I had to take care of myself. I was so happy because I had been already through the recovery period.
