Snake's have bones.Animals with 

bones are known as vertebrates.A snake's 

backbones are attached to many ribs. A 

human has 33 backbones   and 24 ribs. 

Snakes have between 200-400 vertebrae with 

as many ribs attached!

That's what makes it so flexible and helps 

them move along! All those bones and their 

strong muscles help the internal organs. 

          Snakes have 4 ways of moving 

around,since they don't have legs   they   use 

their muscles and their scales to do the 

walking.  Serpentine Method: this motion is 

what most people think of when they think of 

snakes.

          Different types of snakes have different 

physical features ; however snakes look like 

long tubes about 80 to 120 cm. long and are 

covered in scales.

about the size of a worm. in 2004 in india 

there was a 49 feet python and weighed 990 

pounds.

the largest species of snakes is disputed, with 

an anaconda holding an official record as the 

heaviest and the burmese python as the 

longest.
