About the author
It was a beautiful day. Really though, it was very windy, and cold for spring. Chloe was at home. She so badly wanted to just go outside and play tennis, but her mom said it was too cold. Chloe was the one who loved nature. Right now it was the beginning of Spring break. She was just drawing a forest and heard the doorbell ring. Chloe jumped up, hoping one of her best friends will be at the door. She has four best friends, Brooklyn, Madison, Sarah, and Harper. She always felt blessed to have friends like them.
Chapter 1
She dropped the notebook she was drawing on, and ran for the door, and opened it. It was Madison!
"What a nice surprise?", Chloe said as she welcomed her in. She was in winter clothes holding a cup of hot chocolate in her hands.

"Hi Chloe", Madison said.
"Hi Madison" Chloe said back. "What's with the winter clothes".
"It's cold and my mom had extra marshmallows for hot coco" Madison said. "Anyway, Harper sent me to tell you to come, and meet up at the forest park at 4 pm".
"Okay", Chloe said. Forest park was one of her favorite parks. It made her feel as if she was in a real forest. Chloe loved nature. Madison was also pretty excited, because it was her first time her friends were going to let her bring her tablet there. Her friends always say to not take her tablet with her, because they told her to imagine they were in a real forest.
Chloe asked her mom who was cooking whether she could go, and she said yes. Chloe was about to step out of the kitchen when she smelled something really good: Spaghetti. Mom are you making spaghetti, Chloe asked her mom.
"Wow, your nose can probably smell anything", her mom said with a laugh. Ask Madison if she wants to stay for dinner, I'll ask her mom too. "Okay", she said. Chloe love it when one of her friends stay for dinner. Chole loves having them around. Chloe asked Madison, and she said yes, but she first texted her mother saying that she's staying with Chloe for dinner. Chloe's mom finished making the spaghetti, and they sat around the table.
"Wow, you're good at making Spaghetti Chloe's mom", Madison said.
Meanwhile Brooklyn, Harper, and Sarah was having a sleepover. At the last minute, Sarah thought of the sleepover, so when they called Chloe's mom. She didn't answer the call, so they sent Madison to get her. Right now though, Madison forgot why she even came there. Brooklyn, Harper, and Sarah, were waiting for them, but when they waited an hour, the friends decided they should call them.
The phone rang at Chloe's house, and her mom went to get. When she finished talking, she told them about it.
"Ok, time to pack up", Chloe said excitedly. She loved having sleepovers with her friends, especially with her best friends.
After Chloe was done, she and Madison went to Sarah's house.
Chapter 2
They all had a great time, partying all night, but eventually they went to sleep. The next day, everybody went home, and got ready for forest park. Brooklyn made her hair colorful at the bottom of her blonde hair. At four, the five friends met up together, and brainstormed ideas of what to do. Just then, Harper noticed some type of key. "Hey look," she said pointing at it. Sarah picked it up, and carefully brushed off the dirt.
"Maybe someone lost it," she said.
"Maybe", Harper agreed.
"Wait, but look", Brooklyn said, pointing to a weird lock on a bush. "Maybe it belongs there".
"Let's try it", Chloe said. Everyone nodded as they stepped toward the mysterious lock.

Harper approached the door cautiously. She turned the key, and with a click, it opened. There was a mysterious portal. Everyone took step backward.
"Is that a portal" asked Sarah, shocked by the unexpected surprise.
" I guess it is" Madison replied.
"Should we go through" Chloe asked.
Everyone nodded, but Sarah. She thought it was safer to not go, but seeing all curious faces of her friends, she reluctantly said yes. Everyone stepped through the portal wondering what they will encounter. Everyone was excited, but nervous at the same time. They all were completely lost in thought about where they were going, what they would see, and how they would come back.
When each person stepped through the portal, they took turns being shocked. It was a magical forest. It made us feel elysian by just looking at it. Just then we heard a small voice saying ''Intruders'. Just then moose came throwing us up into the trees were monkeys tied us to trees with filament, and strong rope made out of leaves.

Just then a tiger came. ''You intruders came back to steal something else important to us'' the tiger said. ''Don't you know that the harmony stone is important enough to us, and the impact is going to grow?''. Everyone was confused. First of all, what was the harmony stone and, second of all, was the tiger talking to them.
''We come in peace'' Madison said, trying to do what a person in a movie or a book would do. Unfortunately, the tiger did not believe them. ''What are you doing here'' the tiger roared. Chloe then explained the whole story. The tiger heard everything trying not to miss a single detail. After Chloe explained everything, the friends believed the tiger trusted them because she let them go. Then the tiger sat down.
Chapter 3
''My name is Stripe, and I'm in charge of the magic forest'' the tiger said proudly. Her smile turned upside down the next second though. ''I am in charge of everything including the safety of the three stones which I have failed on''.
''May I ask what the three stones are'' Brooklyn asked politely. Now it was the Stripe's turn to explain everything.
''Follow me'' Stripe said.

She lead them into this huge cave.
"We're here", said Stripe. There were three vines, and two of them was carrying a stone that was glowing. Stripe explained in vivid detail about the stones. ''This is the stone of emotion, and this is the stone of truth'' Stripe was saying when Harper interrupted her.
''Why doesn't this vine not have a stone'' Harper said.
''Because that vine belongs to the stone of Harmony, which has been stolen'' Stipe sighed. ''This is the magic forest, and these stones are the items that make it magical'' she said. ''Without them, it can cause a great unbalance and this won't be magical''. ''Then Stripe added, the harmony stone doesn't let the carnivores eat animals''. ''Instead they come here when they're hungry, and they sit in front of the stone, they close their eyes, and that gives them the power to go out and have fun'' she said.
Without checking with her friends, Brooklyn blurted out, ''We'll help find the stone of Harmony''. Stripe smiled, and her heart pounded with happiness.
''Thank you'' she said feeling touched by the girls kindness. Then she added ''Beware the fairies around here, they may look nice, but their hearts are frozen with greed.
''We will watch out'' Chloe said as she turned to go, but Stripe stopped her.
''Wait", she said. You can take a comfortable outfit for the journey. Chloe's eyes sparkled. They looked like spy outfits! Everyone said "no thankyou", everyone but Chloe. She gratefully took the offer. She changed and then all of them filled their backpacks with some items that they might need for this new adventure.
Chapter 4
Right when they were about to go, Stripe stopped them again. "Perhaps you should first check the cave for clues" she said. The girls considered this for a moment.
"Okay" they replied at last. They looked around the cave. Just then Sarah noticed something.
"Hey look", Sarah said. She found a scroll saying, lake of clues. Stripe heard them and came over saying, the lake of clues is a lake nearby, she said. "I'll write a map saying where it is, and you can find it, and get the clue". Then she added "I have to stay at the forest, and cannot help but I believe you can do the rest on your own." Stripe quickly wrote down the map to follow. The friends was seeing Stripe write everything down. "Okay", she said as she passed the scroll to Brooklyn. She also added "Beware the fairies".
They all exchanged curious glances. Why was Stripe so concerned about the fairies. Can they really be that bad.
"I bet not all of them are bad", Harper whispered to Madison.
"We should still listen to her", Madison said seriously knowing that her friend might befriend a fairy.

Chapter 5
They left the cave after Stripe gave the map there. Chloe, Madison, Brooklyn, Sarah, and Harper were following the map as they talked about who could have been so cruel to steal the stone of Harmony. They stopped talking soon to hear the wonderful sounds the forest provides. "It sounds like wonderful music, and the instruments is nature itself" Brooklyn sighed.
"Nature so is wonderful" Chloe said happily walking. "I would like to go jogging here every day". Then Chloe added, "Maybe we should run". Everyone started to panic. Chloe was so fast, and whenever she runs her friends struggle so much to keep up.
Chloe burst out laughing. "Kidding" she said with a chuckle. Her friends relaxed a little.
"I think we are here" Madison said. Her friends stopped, and stared at the lake in awe. It looked as if it was glowing.
"Everything here is magical" said Sarah as she happily twirled around. No one could disagree with that.

As Brooklyn went to dip the map in the water with her friends to reveal the clue, some magical force blocked her from moving any further. "Something is blocking me", Brooklyn said as she punched the force. "Answer three riddles, and you may pass", said a small voice. Then they realized a little turtle on a rock.
"It doesn't look like we have a choice", said Madison.
"Ok", Sarah replied to the turtle. "I'll take the offer, as you wish" said the turtle rather excitedly. "You have three chances for every riddle" said the turtle. Than he began. "Question one" he said. "What has one face 2 hands, but no arms or legs". The group thought over it.
"This makes no sense" said Harper.
"I think I might know" said Sarah. "A clock has a face and hands" she said. They considered this for a moment.
"It's our best shot" said Madison. All her friends nodded.
"A clock", said Sarah hoping it was right. "Correct", said the turtle. Every one relaxed. "Next question" said the turtle. "What gets wetter as it dries".
"It could be a sponge", said Chloe. "A sponge gets dryer as it wets" said Brooklyn.
"I think I know" said Madison. "It could be a towel".
"I believe Madison's right" said Harper. "A towel" said all the friends enthusiastically. "Again you are correct" said the turtle. "Now you will move on to the third question" said the turtle. "What begins with an e, and only contains one letter. "I'm out", said Chloe.
"Me too", said Madison. "Same", said Sarah.
"I think it means like a letter like the ones you write" said Harper.
"So the answer could be envelope". The turtle overheard them this time. "You may enter the lake now" it said.
The girls entered the lake, and dipped the scroll in the magical water. It was sparkling with vibrant colors before the magic slowly vanished revealing a handwritten message. It said: Go where the little tree cries magical water, that helps the animals shimmer, this miserable drought is not helping, but the tree is everlasting providing.....some.
"This seems like another riddle", Sarah remarked.
"A rather challenging riddle" added Chloe.
"Go where the little tree cries", Madison muttered. "It might be a magical tree, and animals drink water from it, and they would be refreshed".
" That is a good guess", said Brooklyn. Let's start finding it.
"But where is it?" said Harper with a confused expression on her face. "We could try and ask a couple of friendly creatures", said Sarah.
Go where the little tree cries magical water, that helps the animals shimmer, the miserable drought is not helping, but the tree is everlasting providing. It's very young and very fragile, ask it for water and you may have some.
Chapter 6
Quickly, they found a bunny, and a squirrel happily chatting chewing on nuts and carrots, under the shade of a big tree. Then they noticed the friends approaching them and greeted them warmly.
"Hi! my name is Carrot, and this is by friend Peanut", the gray bunny said. "Hello we want to know a little bit of information about the tree of everlasting water", Chloe said bouncing up and down in excitement to get information.
"Oh the tree of everlasting water is close by here", said Peanut.
"It lets every animal drink a bit of water if you ask", Carrot said.
It's nickname is the crying tree because it drips water from it's leaves. "Interesting" murmured Chloe.
"Thankyou for this valuable information" said Harper.
"Good luck on your search" Carrot replied.

"They were really nice", said Madison. "Couldn't have said it better", said Sarah.
"Also they gave us a lot of information", said Brooklyn. "Come on this way" said Chloe hurriedly. Then she began to run.
"Oh no", said Harper as she started running trying her best to keep up with her friend. After a long tiring run, they found themselves at this big tree, and water was dripping from the leaves.
"Beautiful", said Chloe as she walked around. All the friends stood in awe watching the tree, and not saying a thing.
Finally Madison found her voice. "The clue said to ask the tree for water" she said. "Ok, I got this one", said Brooklyn.
"May I please have some water". The tree's vine came with a cup made out of tree bark. Then a leaf fell, squeezed water into the cup, and hurried back, and left them with nothing but water.
"I don't understand", said Brooklyn with a confused look on her face. "We did everything right".
"Wait a minute", said Madison right before she slapped her hand on her forehead.
"Of course,". "What is it?" said Sarah curiously.
"Guys does this tree look small and fragile" Madison said.
"No" said Harper. "The clue must be referring to something else".
"Like that", said Chloe as she pointed to a rock with the words everlasting water, and a small plant on top. They went over there knowing that this can really be a clue.
"May we please have some water?" Brooklyn asked the rock. A hidden door opened and water spilled out. Luckily, magic noticed they didn't want to be wet to the water flew over their heads.
The friends were starting to get used to this magic so they didn't really make a big deal out of it. They walked into the hidden room, and looked around for clues.
"Did the thief leave all these clues around for no reason?" said Sarah feeling annoyed.
"I bet this is just a dead end", sighed Madison.
"All of you guys can't give up yet", said Harper.
"Maybe Harper is right", said Chloe.
"I believe Harper is right", said Brooklyn. "That is because I found this". Then everyone spun around to see Brooklyn pointing at a little tube thing. A little note said insert water. Then Brooklyn carefully poured the water that the big tree had gave her, and closed the lid. Just then, the room lit up with a beautiful pictures showing five girls with five tigers.
"Good job Brooklyn!" said Harper.
"I wonder what this means", said Chloe.
"I wonder when we will find the thief", said Sarah.
"Right when I feel like were done" there is always more". "I bet we are close to the treasure" said Madison.
"However we should still take a break". "I know this idea seems silly, but maybe the magic forest does have some place to eat", Harper said. "Your imagination seems wild, but maybe your right", said Brooklyn.
"Ok then, I'll take a picture of this place, and then we could ask someone if they know a place to eat", said Madison. "Good idea Madison", Sarah said enthusiastically. Madison made sure to take every single detail on her phone. "Let's leave now", said Chloe when Madison finished taking photo's. "Hopefully we can find someone quickly".
Chapter 7
They went searching for an animal that could help them out. Then they found a monkey in a tree, and decided to ask him.
"Hello!" said Sarah. "My name is Sarah and these are my friends Brooklyn, Chloe, Harper, and Madison".
"Hello my name is Katherine, but call me Kat", said the Monkey.
"So Kat me and my friends are wondering a place to eat", said Chloe.
"Oh, just keep on going straight, and you will find one" said Kat.
"Thank you!" said Harper.
"Do you want to know what they serve there?" said Kat.
"Sure", said Brooklyn.
"They serve a variety of fruit and interesting desserts", said Kat.
"Thank you Kat!" said Sarah. "Bye", said Kat.
"That was a nice Monkey", said Chloe. "Yeah, all the animals here are super nice", said Brooklyn thinking of Carrot and Peanut.

Everyone kept walking straight and ended up in a beautiful flower field. There were beautiful flower blankets like picnic blankets, and there were food stations made out of bark. The friends decided to go to the food stations and ordered some food.
"I'll take a fruit salad", said Madison.
"I'll take some bread with strawberry jam", said Brooklyn.
"I'll take a fruit burrito", said Chloe.
"I'll take to bowl of fruit pulp mixed", said Sarah.
"I'll take a couple of kiwi slices", said Harper. They picked a beautiful sunflower picnic blanket, and ate.
"Wow, they really do have a beautiful place to eat", said Chloe as she admired all the beautiful flowers. Harper was seeing a family of tigers eating fruit salad.
"Looks like even the carnivores we know are eating plants and fruits that herbivores and omnivores eat", she said. For them it was very surprising.
After they finished eating their food, everyone started to crowd around Madison's phone. "Maybe this might be a popular place to visit", said Chloe. Harper was busy looking at a family of bunnies chatting about a place called five tigers and the youngest bunny was talking about the five statues of girls, and five statues of tigers.

They approached the family of bunnies. "Hello! I'm Harper and these are my friends Brooklyn, Madison, Sarah, and Chloe", said Madison.
"I'm sorry but we couldn't help, but overhear your conversation", Harper continued. "Actually we want to go over there, but we don't know were it is".
"Oh! it's very far away, but you can go to the train station" said the older bunny".
"We are going there tomorrow, but you can go there today if you would like". "Thankyou, but where is the train station?" asked Madison.
"You go straight till you reach a waterfall, and then you turn left and then you will turn left and continue walking straight, and you will find yourself there", said the bunny. Everyone thanked the bunny and started going to the place they were supposed to go.
After what felt like a million hours, they reached the waterfall. The friends were so tired. The sky was dark by now, and not many animals were outside. Why couldn't the bunny have told them it was going to take so long. "What time is it?" said Harper tiredly.
Madison switched on the phone and saw the time and said its 9 pm.
"We should take a break", said Chloe.
"We are lucky", said Sarah pointing up to a building that said Animal Hotel. Everyone hunched over there and checked in a room. The girls found themselves in a room with three bunk beds.
"I call top bunk" said Sarah excited to sleep. The bedroom was big with three bunkbeds made out of bark, and one big window. There was also a big bathroom, a closet, and a bookshelf full of books. The friends decided to read a book that was on the bookshelf, before they went to bed.
The next morning, Chloe woke everyone up. "It's morning already", said Brooklyn sleepily.
"Yes, get up or we will be late for breakfast" said Chloe enthusiastically. Everyone eventually got up, dressed up, and went to get breakfast.
Everyone ordered some fruit and sat down at a table. They decided to talk about something else but their case. "I wonder how we are going to explain this to our parents" said Chloe.
"Yeah, we can't tell the truth though", said Brooklyn.
"It's so weird to see carnivores eating fruit", said Harper looking at a family of jaguars. The girls continued to eat and talk until all the food in their bowl was in their stomach. They thanked the sloth that slowly helped them get a room in the hotel, and left the hotel. "Hopefully, it doesn't take long till we get to our destination", said Chloe.
Luckily, they found a kind fox that offered to lend them a ride in a wooden car. The cars seats were soft and filled with cotton. They thankfully climbed into the car, and in fifteen minutes they arrived at the five tigers cave. Just like the bunny had said, there were five tigers, and five statues.

Everyone searched the cave. Madison was seeing the statue, and Brooklyn came over curiously to see what she was studying. Brooklyn came and tapped her friend on the shoulder.
"Hi!" Madison said without looking back at her.
"Madison, what are you looking at?" Brooklyn asked. Madison moved aside to let her friend see. Right there was a code, and it showed numbers and they were supposed to figure out the code.
"I'm trying to see if I can try to figure it out without finding the right clue", said Madison. "But this is protected and high tech, so it's going to be hard. Everyone else wanted to see what was happening, so they all crowded around the code. The clues to find this must be scattered around the forest.", Chloe told to the group.
"Yeah, speaking of which, I have the first clue" Harper said.
Chapter 8
Everyone started to crowd around Harper. Harper unfolded the piece of paper and read aloud.
"Go to the place where monkeys swing around", Harper read.
"This seems easy", Sarah said. "It probably means the treetops".
"Only problem is, this is a forest and there is so many trees" Chloe said with a heavy sigh.
"Come on, there's probably a easier way" Harper exclaimed as she tried to cheer everyone up.
"Hmm.., maybe we have to go to the monkeys favorite tree" said Sarah.
"Should we ask a monkey" said Brooklyn.
"That is a good idea" said Madison enthusiastically.
"It won't be long till we find one" said Harper. No one could argue with that. Almost every tree in the forest has one in it.
They went out of the cave eager to find out the code. Just as they expected, they found a family of monkeys in the trees. They were eating some bananas. Then everyone introduced themselves and exclaimed their situation.
"Can we know what a monkeys favorite tree is?", said Chloe.
The youngest monkey said, "Sky treetops".
"It's the tallest tree around here", one of the older monkeys explained. "There is a playground, a hotel, and a restaurant." "Thankyou, but where is it located?" asked Chloe trying to gather as much information as she could.
"If you go straight till you see a river, turn left and go straight and soon you'll find yourself there", said the older monkey.
"Is it going to take a long time to get there?" asked Harper remembering how long it took to get to the waterfall.
"Not too long" said the older monkey.
The friends thanked the monkeys and headed straight. Soon they reached the river. It didn't take them too long, but they were still thirsty. Madison had a good water filterer and Brooklyn had bark cups, so the decided to filter the water and have some.

Then everyone turned left. Everyone loves to just listen to the sounds of the birds humming, tree's rustling, snaps of twigs, and leaves crunching. They were quiet until Chloe spoke up. "I would love to come here every evening to enjoy the sunsets on the fields of grass" she said. Everyone nodded.
"Too bad we're on a mission", said Brooklyn. "Or by now, I would be resting in a field of grass by now". The friends continued to enjoy the beautiful sounds nature was providing them. Soon they found themselves face to face with sky treetops.
"That family of monkeys were right" said Sarah as she saw all the monkeys taking turns climbing up the tree. Soon they realized in order to find the clue, they had to climb the tree.
Luckily, Chloe knew how to climb trees so she taught everyone how to. They started practicing on some other trees. It took a while to get it right. Chloe easily climbed up trees, because first she knew how to climb, and second, the shoe's Stripe gave her had a sticky grip on the bottom for climbing things. So she could easily climb up a wall.

When they thought they were ready, they started taking turns with the monkeys. It was hard for them, but all that practice helped them climb the tree. After everyone came up, they thought they could spot the clue around the entrance. Just after a couple of minutes, Madison spotted a piece of paper right near a pile of leaves.
"I found a clue", said Madison excitedly. She was happy to get a clue. Madison started to read it aloud to her friends. "Go to the area where the music is loud", she read. Then Madison added "Who knew that animals play music". Brooklyn was excited to hear the music that animals play. "Hmm.., I wonder what type of music animals like," Brooklyn said. Sarah looked at the sky. "I heard that they got a good hotel here", she told to her friends with a wink.
"And a good restaurant", Harper added.
Everyone first went to the restaurant. It was a beautiful restaurant with bark seats. The seats were filled with cotton making it extra comfy. The friends picked a table and sat down. There were menu cards on the table. So they looked through them. Again, the menu's were filled with vegetarian foods. When a friendly fox came to take their order, they all ordered a salad. Then the fox left them, and they started talking.
"I can't believe just one visit to forest park would lead us into this big of a adventure", said Harper. "Luckily you let me bring my electronics", joked Madison. Everyone laughed. Just then, a squirrel came over balancing five bowls of salad. The friends quickly grabbed the bowls so the bowls won't fall. They thanked the squirrel and started eating. They talked more about how they got there, and how confused they were when they encountered Stripe.
After they ate, they went to the hotel and checked in. "Room 35", Sarah declared to her friends. They went up bark stairs to another room with 3 bunkbeds. They enjoyed the hotels in the forest. The beds were comfy, there is a good closet, a bathroom, window, but what they liked most was the paintings.

The friends decided to talk a while before they slept. There was still time to have a little bit of fun. There was a full moon outside. It was surely beautiful. Madison, Chloe, and Sarah were sitting on the railing of the top bunk. Brooklyn and Harper shared the same reason why they don't like the top bunk, because of the safety. They were afraid of falling off on accident. Brooklyn was under Madison, and Harper was under Sarah. The bed under Chloe was empty. Brooklyn was laying down on her bed, while Harper was sitting on the bed. They were both enjoying the full moon. The friends stayed up chatting almost all night. After a while, Brooklyn felt tired and fell asleep, but the others stayed up even longer. They started reading books, and talked about the clue they got earlier in the day at sky treetops. They were all not noticing how dark it was and kept talking, but soon they fell asleep at eleven o' clock.
Chapter 9
The next morning, Brooklyn woke everyone up.
"Come on everyone" she said. "Time to get up". Brooklyn had a long slumber, because she didn't stay up for as long as her friends. Brooklyn was extra excited today, because she was going to hear animals play music. Brooklyn loved music, and always loved to here many bands. Brooklyn has a beautiful voice when she sings. Brooklyn normally plays her guitar and sings along to her favorite song. Even though they all were friends, they didn't like music as much as Brooklyn does. So they all had trouble waking up.
"It's morning already" Chloe whined. Chloe and Brooklyn were switched up today. Usually, Brooklyn was the one who whines about waking up, and Chloe usually wakes them up, but today was the total opposite.
They all sadly, and tiredly got out of bed and got ready. After all, they were on a mission, and they had to finish it before it was too late. They didn't want to fail there first mission that Stripe had trusted them on, and they didn't want the harmony in the magic forest die. All they wanted to do was to complete their mission and go home. They would not let the magic of this forest disappear. They went and got breakfast. They got a bowl of fruit pulp mix. It was fruit pulp of many fruits mixed. They all were not familiar with this type of breakfast but they decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, for the friends it was truly delicious. They all enjoyed their breakfast and left. They thanked the people that had checked them in and left.
They all climbed trees while thinking of what to do next. They all decided to ask a animal who could tell them what area had a lot of music. They found a bear eating berries. They decided to talk to it. "Hi! my name is Chloe, and these a my friends", said Chloe politely. "What do you want?" said the bear grumpily. Everyone was a little shocked by what he said. They didn't know he was going to act so annoyed. They took posture again.
"Sorry to disturb you on a peaceful morning, but we would like to know, where is a place with loud music?" asked Harper.
"The loud music place of course..", said the bear. "Do you not know what it is?". "No, we don't!", said Madison. "Can you tell us where it is?".
"You go straight for like five minutes and you will find it" said the bear. Then he added under his breath, "How do you not know about the most popular place around here?".
The girls walked straight.
"That bear is totally having a berry bad day", joked Harper. Everyone laughed. Harper always knows how to cheer them up.
"Good one Harper", said Sarah chuckling.

They all kept going straight while chatting, and they soon found themselves there. It wasn't too crowded though. A squirrel walked past and saw their confused faces.
"By the way, we are closed right now, the next concert will start after five hours", she said. "But you could go there and wait for the band animals to come", the squirrel added.
"Thank you!" everyone said gratefully. They headed toward the large building made out of wood.
"This would give us lots of time to inspect this huge building", Chloe said. "Come on, lets go". Then she took off running toward the building. Chloe's friends groaned as they tried to catch up to her. No one really liked running as much as she did. Soon they all made it to the entrance. Everyone stopped to catch their breath.
After they finished catching their breath, they went in. Brooklyn was bouncing around excitedly. "Maybe we should come back here today", she said.
"Sure" said Sarah. They were all pretty excited to see what was in there, and how the music sounded like. They all went in and began to inspect all the crooks and crannies. They wanted to get the clue real badly. They didn't want any of the animals to see them, because then they will have to explain the whole story to them, and they may not understand. Stripe hasn't told anything about the missing Harmony stone. She thought that it will scare the animals too much. Everyone wondered how much time they will have before the magic forest will not have the word magic in it's name. They wanted all the animals to be in harmony with each other.
They looked at the huge building. "There is no way we can search that whole building for a little clue" Brooklyn eventually said. None of them even tried to argue. It was at least fifteen stories high, it would take them days to find a clue. They were quiet as they thought it is over.
"How about we check the stage?" Harper exclaimed.
"Harper has a good point", Chloe added. "The stage is the most important place, because that is where they do the performances". "Anyone have any other ideas?" Sarah exclaimed. No one answered. Sarah opened her mouth to speak, but Madison didn't let her.
"To the stage", shouted Madison. With that, she took off.
"Wait for me", said Chloe as she ran after Madison, catching up pretty soon. The rest of them had no choice but to run too".
Chapter 10
After they got there, they saw all the instruments. Brooklyn went over to the piano and started playing it.
"I thought you play the guitar", said Chloe as she walked over.
"I play almost all the instruments, but my favorite is the guitar" explained Brooklyn. And it was true.
"I can only play the trumpet" said Chloe. "And I am terrible at it. She saw a brand new just made mouth piece, and fixed it on. Then she blew into it, making a terrible rhythm.
"You just need a bit of practice" Sarah exclaimed, trying to sound polite.
Chloe chuckled. "I know I am really bad at it, and I admit it", Chloe giggled.
"Well, Chloe, you know how to play all the sports I know, and don't know", Harper said. Nobody could argue with that. When it came to sports, Chloe was the most talented in it. She's better than all of them combined.
They all are different, but they are best friends. They trust their friends, and always cool down after flamed arguments. They think each other is more important then themselves. They search the whole area for clues and try to cover up as much as they can. They all wanted to find the clues and complete the mission as soon as they can. They all wanted to find the clue. Soon, everyone was exhausted by the search.
"I am craving for water", said Harper.
"Well, your in luck", said Madison. Everyone looked at her curiously. She opened her bag, and pulled out water bottles, in all the colors of the rainbow, including pink and teal.
"Where did you get this stuff?" exclaimed Sarah surprised.
"They were giving this out at the last hotel", replied Madison. "At the river I secretly filled it up with water".
"How are the colored, and scented?" Sarah asked taking a sniff.
"The people who gave this to me was explaining how they mashed up berries, and borrowed a bit of a sheep's wool, and painted it", Madison responded.
"You're a genius Madison", reported Brooklyn going up to give her friend a hug.
"Thankyou!" replied Madison enjoying the compliment. "Now pick the color you want". They all started talking during enjoying their drink.
"I have a question", said Chloe suspiciously. "What do animals get for this?".
"I don't know", replied Madison. "Money?"
"Although we did not have to pay to the animals that worked at the food station, and the hotel", Harper stated. "Oh well, let's just not think about it. We will just ask a animal tomorrow".
Then they all continued back to work. "How do we still not have a clue?" groaned Chloe falling back onto the stage. "I might have a clue", Sarah remarked. Chloe bolted back up.
"I found a key", said Sarah. "Why didn't you tell us?" Harper questioned.
"Because I thought this was a band members key!" exclaimed Sarah.
"I saw a mini door", Brooklyn chimed in.
"Show us, where it is?" Chloe inquired.
"Sure", Brooklyn said. "Come on!". They all followed their friend. Then they all saw the little hatch. Sarah crouched and turned the key in the lock. It opened with a little click. Sarah jumped back up. "We have a problem", she stated.
"What is it?" Harper insisted.
"One of us will have to crawl through", Sarah responded.
"I'll do it", stated Chloe while getting on her knee's.

She crawled through and got a scroll. "There are so many clues, when will they end?" groaned Sarah.
"Eventually", sighed Chloe as she showed it to her friends. It gave another handwritten weird note.

Go to the world of technology. A city filled with views. Then find another clue in the palace of knowledge. That is all I can tell you.
"Let's go right away", Madison declared.
"Slow your roll, let's get something to eat", protested Harper. "I like these roller skates, because now I can quickly get something to eat while you save me a spot, the concert starts in fifteen minutes", added Harper. All her friends stared down at her roller skates. They didn't notice.
Finally Brooklyn piped up. "You were wearing them the whole time and didn't tell us", she questioned. "Hurry people are coming in, we can't sit together if we keep talking", exclaimed Harper before skating away.
"She didn't even answer my question", grumbled Brooklyn as she walked away. About ten minutes later Harper returned with a bag. "What's in there?" asked Chloe curiously.
"Fruit and veggie burritos", responded Harper.
Then the band came to the front and played. They played lots of types of music such as classics, jazz, sad, happy, you name it. They all enjoyed the music, and the burritos. Madison enjoyed the music, but she wasn't paying that close of attention. She was staring at the clue they gotten. A world of technology she thought. This is going to be amazing. After the concert, they were tired and sleepy.
"Should we go into a hotel?", yawned Brooklyn sleepily.
"Yeah, but first I'm going to ask a animal what we get for making things", Sarah replied as she walked away.
"I'm going to join her", Chloe said as she jogged away.
"Let's wait for them to come back", Madison said. They agreed and waited. Soon they came running back.
"What did they say?" Harper asked curiously.
Chapter 11
"They get these coins and they use them like money, and the first time we go to a restaurant or a hotel, we get it for free..." Chloe huffed.
"And then we have to pay for it" Sarah interrupted.
"I got these acorns" stated Chloe. Just then a squirrel arrived.
"Do you want these acorns for a couple of coins?" asked Brooklyn pointing at the acorns in Chloe's hands.
"Of course, how much" the squirrel asked.
"Um, forty" Madison said.
"Ok", the squirrel spoke sounding like it was a normal price for a bunch of acorns. It handed them forty and left with all the acorns. "I hope this is enough for the hotel", remarked Brooklyn sounding worried. They walked away into the hotel.
"Hello, we would like to stay for one night", they said to the bear checking them in.
