Mary and John looked with curiosity in the fire that they lit to guide the ships until the morning. In a blink of an eye, they were no longer in the lighthouse! It was dark and quiet. They could only here the sounds of the sea.
Lights was seen in the sky and then a big explosion was heard. Everyone run in panic! Jack managed to ask a firefighter "what day is it?" "Don't you see what is happening?", answered the firefighter "we are in great danger". "Please tell me", said Jack. "July 11th, 2011" said the firefighter as he run to help. Mary manage to find out that they were in Cyprus, in a navy base. They run to help but a bigger explosion as about to happen!! The hugged each other and closed their eyes.
When they opened them again, they were safely back in the lighthouse.

Mary and John, amazed by the glow of the lighthouse, asked their grandfather: «Did the world always have fire to use?» Then, their grandfather began to tell them about the myth of Prometheus...

While Mary and John were starting the fire in the lighthouse, a big beautiful cloud wrapped them together and brought them to the island of Lemnos. There, they landed on the workshop of Hephaestus, the God of fire, which is situated in a volcano.

When Hephaestus went to bed, Mary and John saw someone getting into his lab and stealing the fire. As soon as he grabbed the fire he turned to them and told them '' I'm Prometheus and I took the fire in order to give it to humans''

When John and Mary heard the words of Prometheus they were scared but in that same moment they were back at the lighthouse.
They looked at each other and John said: - I'm glad he gave us the fire. Fire is dangerous, but it's also fantastic.
And Maria said: - John, can you imagine what it would be like to live without fire?
