Long long ago in a not so far land known by the
name of Fruity Ville, there was a big dispute about to
go down. Mayor Cherry’s birthday was coming up
and he needed the best baker in town to make him his
birthday cake.

We'll have a bake off!

Baker Pineapple and Baker Raspberry
needed to settle the argument between
them on who was the best. So a bake off
was to be held.

Pineapple'sRaspberry's

Baker Raspberry always followed the
recipe while Baker Pineapple just threw
ingredients into the bowl and hoped for
the best. His batter was always nothing
but a big bowl of slop. No one liked
Baker Pineapple’s cooking, but never
said anything for they did not want to
hurt his feelings.

The bake off was to be held two days
before Mayor Cherry’s birthday, and the
pressure was getting to both bakers. They went
to bed early to get a good rest.
They needed all their energy in order to
make the best cake.

In the morning, Baker Raspberry crept
down the creaky stairs not wanting to
wake his wife Mrs. Lemon. He wanted
to get an early start. When he reached his
bake shop he found that Baker Pineapple
was still at home sleeping. He shrugged
and then got to work. By the middle of
the day Baker Raspberry had his whole
cake planned out while Baker Pineapple
was just starting.

At this point, Baker Pineapple knew he
had to make a very good cake in order to
win against his fellow companion. He
knew that the the mayor liked chocolate peanut
butter flavored cake, and he noticed that
he drank lots of soda and ate many,
many bagels. So he decided to mix them.
Although there was no recipe for this
bubbly dessert, he was just going to
make it up as he went.

On the other side of the kitchen, Baker
Raspberry also knew of what the mayor
liked. He decided to go with the
traditional chocolate peanut butter cake
with a bagel on top and a soda as the
beverage.

One hour later, both bakers were ready
to put their cakes in the oven.
Raspberry’s batter looked like a piece of
Heaven had fallen into his bowl. But
Pineapple’s batter looked like an ogre
had barfed up its lunch into his.
The batter was a bowl of slop.

While the cakes were in the oven, Raspberry
decided to start cleaning up his side of the kitchen
so it wouldn't be a mess, but Pineapple decided to
take an afternoon nap. But he awoke to a loud
noise. BOOM!! His cake had exploded and was
everywhere. It created a perfect mess. And at that
point it was 5:58 PM and the bakers needed to be
ready with their cakes by the next morning for
the contest.

BOOM!

Baker Pineapple started to get
worried because time was running
out and he still didn't have a cake.
But Baker Raspberry was very
relaxed because he had followed the
recipe and his cake turned out
great so far. Now all he had to
do was decorate it.

By 10 o’clock, Baker Raspberry was
ready to go home with his finished
product for some rest. But Baker
Pineapple had to stay up all night to finish
his. At midnight, Mrs. Kiwi, Pineapple’s
wife, decided to check up on her husband.
But he was so busy he hardly noticed her.
