There were three of us young girls. Mother
had married a man whom had a warm
smile and lots of money. Sadly, he passed
away shortly after the marriage had just
begun. Even sadder, he had a daughter of
his own, Cinderella.

I tried to be friends with Cinderella. But
since everyone doted on her all of the time,
she had always had too much to do or too
many friends to visit; besides talking to
me. I am not jealous; I just wish Cinderella
has always possessed the title of the
“beauty of the family” that I desperately
wanted to be. At first, I wanted that I had
the looks and grace that our “Cinderelly”
has. So, I did what any practical step-sister
would do. I convinced Drizella and my
mother to realize just how wicked she truly
is.

That is when her life changed forever, or so
I thought. She was put to work all and
every day. Since I am a kind person, I do
feel bad for her at moments, very brief
moments, and talk to her. Yes, this is very
awkward and so I always bring up the only
subject I know how to properly talk about.
That is boys, but not any boy you see. The
prince, oh how he was absolutely striking
and how his eyes just shined and his
beaming smile!

The day when I got my magical
invitation that sang and danced
letting me know that I had been invited
to the Prince’s very own ball!

Of course, I had the perfect ball
gown with flawless, bouncy hair as
usual and I felt more beautiful than
ever have, and I wondered if this is
how Cinderella used to feel. When I
had gotten there, I knew I would
be able to dance with him.
