Jacob just moved to his new home in South Carolina. He moved with his family from New Jersey.

Jacob was looking out of the window in his new room. He saw a playground that he wanted to explore.

When he got to the park he saw some other kids playing. Jacob went to go introduce himself.

"Hi my name is Jacob can I play soccer with you?" said Jacob. 

"No" said the girl "You can't play soccer you have a limp and can't run fast."

Jacob was sad that no one would play with him. He ran home and went straight to his room and slammed the door shut. He jumped into his bed and pulled the covers over his head.

Jacob's Mother yelled up to him "Jacob can you please come to the kitchen your dad and I would like to talk to you!"

Jacob met his parents in the kitchen. "Honey is everything ok?" His mom asked. "No!" He said. Jacob's dad asked "What happened that made you so upset?"

Jacob told his parents "I went to the park and asked some kids to play soccer with them and they said I couldn't because of my limp and that I wouldn't be able to run fast."
