I dedicate this book to my lovely, wonderful teachers at the EIC, Ms. Kirsty, Ms. Kerril, Ms. Kim, Ms. Sara, MS. Tracy, Mr. Brett, Ms. Debra and Ms. Sophie, for teaching me how to write and encouraging me to believe in myself.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl called Star. She was a princess and she loved to read. She had some magical gold coins. Princess Star had long straight brown hair. She loved wearing long dresses. She had two pets. One of them was a brown dog and the other one was a very fluffy cat.

One day, Princess Star went for a walk in the forest. While she was walking, she saw a little white rabbit crying. “Why are you crying?” Asked Princess Star. “A big bad wolf has stolen my family," moaned the rabbit.

“Oh no!" Screamed Princess Star,” I will help you to rescue your family.”

Princess Star and the rabbit started searching in the dark forest behind very tall trees. Suddenly they heard a hiss. There was an old snake behind a tree looking at them. “Hello Mr. Snake!“ said Princess Star. “Do you know where the big bad wolf took this little rabbit´s family?” “I saw him taking the rabbit`s family,” replied the snake” but I am too old and cannot move to take you there.

“If you show us the way, I will give you one of my magical gold coins,” said Princess Star.
“Hmmm, the big bad wolf took them up the mountain, then down the mountain to the beach!” said the greedy snake.

Princess Star and the rabbit went up the mountain, then down the mountain to the beach. They saw a red jumpy fish playing in the ocean. “Hello little fish! Do you know where the big bad wolf took this little rabbit´s family?” asked Princess Star desperately.

“I am too busy to help you right now,” answered the little fish. “If you show us the way, I will give you one of my magical gold coins,” said Princess Star. “Hmmm, he took them across the ocean to an island!” said the greedy fish. “You can choose one of my turtle friends to take you there.”

“But turtles are so slow, ”thought Princess Star. But there was no other way.

So, Princess Star and the rabbit chose the fastest turtles and got on their backs. They turned round and round and then they swam across the ocean towards the island. Princess Star and the rabbit got off at the island.

They saw a big ship with a strange looking pirate standing on the deck. “Hello, Mr. Pirate! Do you know where the big bad wolf took this little rabbit´s family? ” asked Princess Star.“ I am busy counting my treasure,“ shrieked the pirate angrily.

“ If you show us the way, I will give you one of my magical gold coins,” said the cheeky Princess. “Hmmm, he took them to a desert,” replied the greedy pirate. ”Get on my ship, I will take you there.” Princess Star and the rabbit got on the ship. The ship went over so many waves.
