" THE GRIFFIN              MOUNTAINS "

We were almost at the end of the mountains ( we're obviously staying low, on the ground, we're not climbing ),  when we heard a loud CAW.

- GO LOW! - Whispered John.

And we all kneeled.

I saw a shadow in the fog. It was a griffin. Yup.

I was obsessed with griffins when I was a kid. I first learned about them when I was eight. Jessica told me they were half eagle, half lion. Those were my two favorite animals at that time. I imiedietly fell in love with them. I drew and dreamt about them all the time!

        The griffin was slowly walking in our direction.

We were hiding behind a huge rock. It was so cold over there! Suddenly it disapeared from our sight.

We waited for a moment.

- I think it's gone. - said John. ( lol that ryghmed )

AND THAT'S WHEN IT JUMPSCARED US!

We all screamed and tried to run away but found ourselves surrounded by griffins.

We had no escape.

A HUGE griffin dived down from the mountain and landed perfectly in front of us.

- I'm the leader here. - said the griffin.

- What are you? - she asked with a lot of anger in her voice.

We looked at eachother. I didn't think it was a good idea to tell her we're humans. Luka didn't want to lie.

John was trying to find a way to get out of this.

- The can't get us once we get on the Lion hills, it would be illegal. - he whispered. - RUN!

We ran for our lives. Like I mentioned many times before, I'm not good at sport. As the rest made it to the winged lion's territory I was still running.

The griffins were catching us, their queen being the fastest.

But I made it.

" THE LION HILLS "

We were standing right behind the " Lion Hills " sign.

The griffins were staring at us from their place.

- You can't stay there forever! - one of them shreiked.

- Just watch! - I yelled.

- Well we wont actually stay here forever.. - Luka whispered to me. 

- We need to climb on the top of that hill to meet the winged lion king. - said John pointing at the highest hill.

- Its not even tall! - said Luka.

I almost said " just like you " but bit my tongue just in time. And it was tall. I most certainly DID NOT have the energy to climb.

John was already half way to the top.

- Come on! - said Luka running towards the hill.

I ran to him. The griffins were staring at us.

I geuss they were waiting for us to come back.

- It's too dangerous to go to the winged lions, they're too powerfull! - one of them said.

- Pssh, we're way more powerful! - said they're leader.

Me and Luka started climbing.

- Can you slow down? - I said.

- Sure.

Luka was almost at the top, even though we both JUST started climbing. He didn't even break a sweat, whilst I was berely breathing. Luka stopped and looked at me while I climbed my way up the hill. - You can do it!! - he said holding himsefl up with just one arm.

- Come on, boys! - said Old man John from the top.

I caught up with Luka and he helped me up.

" MEET KING THRAZ             DOUKAS "

We finally made it to the top.

Honestly, I expected a huge castle, millions of houses and stuff, but the king just lived in an avarage house.

- So, the king lives there? - I asked.

- Yep. - said John. - Come on!

We entered the royal house and saw a HUGE lion win GORGEOUS angel-like wings.

I didn't know if I should kneel or not, I was hesitating until I saw that Luka was kneeling. So I did too.

Old man John walked up to the lion.

- Johnny, my old friend! - said the king. - Why haven't you've visited in the past five years? 

- I've been very busy... and geuss what? I'm not the only chosen one! - said John. - This is Raphael and Luka.

I slowly stood up.

- Go ahead! Why are you kneeling down anyway?

Luka turned bright red and stood up.

- I-Im sorry - he said.

- It's fine, young one. - said the King.

- Well, meet King Thraz Doukas. - said John. - He's truley the greatest leader of all time. Even if the elves are more powerful, their leader is terrible!

- So what brings you here?

- It's a long story.. - said John.

- Then why don't I bring you some food and we'll sit down and talk. - The king offered.

- That would be amazing! - said John.

We sat down. I was DESPERATE for the food.

The chef served HUNDREDS of different meals and food. I was so hungry I could've just swallowed everythung whole, but I had to control myself.

- I'll just take a little bit and when no one is watching, I'll just keep on adding more. - I thought.

- So. - said John with his face stuffed with food. - Luka and Raphael found the portal and got teleported to the little creature village. Then the fairies and elves suddenly attacked us. They kidnapped some people and burned everything with their dragons. Then a lot of people went to the centaurs for help since it is possible that a war is staritng. And so only Elizabeth was left in the village. So me and the youngsters went off on a journey to the elves to find the kidnapped ones an maybe steal some crap.
