Deep within the woodlands of Alaska lives Grizzly, the Bear. 

Hi!

Over the winter, Grizzly hibernated beneath piles of snow in a cozy cave. During this time, he ate nothing, and his tummy became empty. 

In spring, Grizzly awoke and began a long journey down the green mountainside. He had to squeeze past tree trunks and thick underbrush. 

Now, Grizzly stands next to a busy river, hungry. Other bears from far and wide have gathered to catch juicy pink salmon. 

He moves closer and sits beside another bear named Cliff. Together, they look for delicious fish. 

Two appear near the surface, surrounded by bubbles. They flap their fins excitedly, trying to swim through the strong current. 

Grizzly goes to grab one, but the hungry Cliff beats him to it and does not share.

Munch, munch, 

munch!

"I feel sad when you take my fish," Grizzly tells Cliff. 

"I didn't know I was," Cliff responds, "I was so hungry I didn't realize."
