Every year a river in Alaska has large amount of fish running through it, these fish are called salmon.

Alaska is home of the grizzly bear, black bear, and the polar bear.

One day in the chilled weather of Alaska, bears from far and wide gather for the first salmon run.

This was the first salmon run that all three bears had went to.

These bears had never seen bears with different colored fur. They were very confused.

"Hi! My name is Koda" said the grizzly bear.

Feeling nervous, the black bear replied, "Hello, my name is Sheldon."

"I am here for the salmon run, but I didn't know other bears came here too" said Koda.

"This is our first year at this salmon run, would you be willing to show us how it works?" asked Sheldon.

As the bears were talking, the polar bear came up to them.

"Hello there! My name is Sadie."

"I would love to show you guys how it works. I've never seen other bears here" said Sadie.

All three bears walked down to the river together.
