There was a bird named Otis that fell from his tree. He seemed frightened and confused.

He couldn't fly back up, so Moose and Mouse welcomed him into their home.

Otis was hesitant to enter at first, but somehow he knew they were gentle and kind.

Otis settled into the night but woke up Mouse and Moose to a bad dream. They knew to give him some time and comfort him after.

Mouse explained to Moose how Otis can't always control his emotions or movements. His mind may not work the same as theirs do but his heart does.

Otis starts to wonder why he's so different. Like he's a bagel in a world of cupcakes. He's reassured not to feel so alone, the world is full of different bagels, cupcakes and muffins.
We're all different from each other and everyone makes mistakes. Just be who you are and love yourself!

Otis meets new friends. All were curious but nice in the end. He made them all laugh and smile. H e taught them to accept and be patient. and brought them even closer.
