January 3, 2020!
Hi Diary,
It’s your favorite pink pug, (basically the only pink pug you know), Precious Pugington! Remember, I am the pug, who ventured with my family through a glistening waterfall, a treacherous scorching hot fire, and a towering mountain. But now, I reside in stunning Oakland, California with my pugtastic owner, Penelope. Penelope is delightful, resourceful, and trustworthy; she is truly the best. Here is a list of things that I adore with a human family.
1. My cordial owner, Penelope!
2. Bubble baths.
3. Delectable snacks (Pudge devours at least twenty-five peanut butter biscuits a day).
4. My bubblegum-colored fur brushed daily.
5. And… exploring our lush lawn.
And here are things that I detest.
1. My leash, which prevents me from being free to wander throughout our neighborhood.
2. When Pudge consumes the final treat.
3. The petrifying veterinarian.
4. And… when Penelope is in school.
Wait a second, Penelope is home! Good day, Diary.

January 5, 2020!
Dear Diary,
I bet you cannot believe what happened on Friday! As Penelope sauntered through the doorway she exclaimed, “Guess what? This Wednesday is show and tell at my school and I decided to present Precious (me) to my class." I bounced contentedly and licked Penelope’s cheek. Then, I sprinted to my parents and brothers and declared what happened. Every pug was thrilled for me except Peanut because he was napping with his silky teddy bear.
But then my elated pup feeling suddenly became gloomy because Penelope’s parents thought it was a terrible idea. Penelope’s mother stated “Penelope, if you bring Precious to school you will be responsible for her.” My owner understood but pleaded “Please, could Precious come I promise to care for her.” Then I widened my pale blue eyes to create the most adorable face even my family joined in. We continued begging until Penelope’s parents exclaimed “Ok, you convinced us.” We were so cheerful. I cannot wait for Wednesday, Diary. I should pack a couple of supplies.
As twenty minutes passed, I stored my supplies in my beloved pink backpack that my mom weaved. I packed six peanut butter treats, my favorite bright pink bow, strawberries, and a special pink blanket that Penelope sewed for me. I am ruff ruff ready. Bye, Diary.

January 8, 2020!
Hello Diary,
Today’s the day. Me and my owner, Penelope are strolling to school now. I will notify you when we are at Penelope’s academy. Ten minutes later, we arrived. I scurried in with excitement and observed students of all ages, who were awestruck to witness a pinkatastic pup. Students surrounded me and started to stroke my silky fur. Then a ginormous silver bell created an ear-splitting ruckus, which meant it was time for the day to begin.
As we ambled through a door, I noticed Penelope relaxed on a petite cherry-colored chair so I laid beside her. Then we patiently waited ten more minutes for show and tell to happen. But as we waited, I became fascinated by everything. I spotted a variety of history books, a transparent tank full of pink glo-fish, and hundreds of blank thin papers. As I was gazing around the room, I accidentally slipped on the sorted smooth papers and bonked my cranium on the history books. I created a clutter. Penelope furiously glared at me. Oh no, she grasped the fuchsia leash. I galloped around the classroom, bounced on the wooden desks, and pounced on the teacher’s table. When I turned around and I was staring directly at a cross female teacher. Then I noticed the leash and glided across the classroom where I grasped my backpack and slipped through a mini window. I found myself on coarse green grass and as soon as I could I sprinted toward a colossal dark brown door and squeezed myself inside. But then I thought, what direction should I travel? Diary, I think I am lost.

January 9, 2020!
Hi Diary,
I have been locked inside this frightening school for one whole day. Yesterday, I was bewildered and terrified, I sobbed for an hour because I was all alone. All I possessed was six measly biscuits, a bow, a few berries, and my favorite blanket to keep me snug.
I recalled the time when I was separated from my family after I fell down a crystal-clear waterfall. Then it hit me, I searched for clues to help me locate my pug family and I was elated when I found my mom, dad, and big brothers.
Wait, I spotted something on the wall, it was a chart of the school! While I was considering my next move, I placed my paw made backpack underneath the table nearest me. Diary guess what I discovered under this table… a FANCY MOUSE! The petite mouse squeaked “Hello little pig, what are you doing here.” I corrected “Hello, I am actually a pug.” The mouse was astounded by my unusual pink fur. I explained my story to the mouse. The tiny creature placed its paw on my furry back and whispered “My name is Minnie. I have resided here for five years.” I gasped, then shouted “FIVE YEARS!” Minnie explained how she got lost. I was intrigued by her narrative that I forgot about the map. Minnie continued to share with me her story about five years ago, when she and her owner, Henry Robinson entered this academy for Pet Day. As her owner approached the third-grade door she sniffed her favorite snack, cheese. She scurried towards the scent and discovered Cheddar, Cream, and Swiss Cheese! Minnie gobbled up half the cheese in the cafeteria and while doing so came to realize she was far away from her owner. I thought the story was depressing the way Minnie described it. Oh wait, I have a marvelous idea, here is the plan … oh, it’s already 10:00 P.M I will tell you tomorrow, bye.

January 10, 2020!
Hello Diary,
I aroused early to apprise you of my plan. I have been thinking of when I search for Penelope, I should consider searching for Minnie’s owner as well. I need to tell Minnie. When I informed Minnie of my plan, she adored the idea. Now it is time to search but first we should check the map.
Wow, this school is enormous. There are multiple rooms in Oakland Academy like a craft room, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium. I noticed a tiny rectangular door in the corner of the map with a microscopic six on it and I know Penelope is in sixth grade. Is this a clue? I have a feeling inside my puggy body that is responding that it is. I asked Minnie to follow me, and she did, but then Minnie inhaled an extraordinary scent of cheese. I grasped her skinny pink tail and offered instead some scrumptious strawberries! She gobbled them up in one minute. Incredibly, that is even quicker than Pudge’s record.
Now we can depart on our quest to find both of our owners again. We searched for many hours, but we kept ending up in the incorrect place. However, the classrooms were spectacular. The art room was gorgeous and there were buckets full of paint, crayons, and all sorts of unique sculptures. I was both captivated and inspired by the supplies, so I started doodling an image of Minnie. Eventually, I decided to stop.
Later, Minnie and I spotted a row of doors, and I did not observe a single six on any of them. I was not even able to find a door with an eight, which could have bought us to Minnie’s owner who would now be in eighth-grade. Oh no, I discerned the ring of an academy bell, which means home time. We still haven’t found our owners. Plus, tomorrow is the weekend we failed our one-day quest. Well, goodbye Diary.

January 12, 2020!
Dear Diary,
It’s Sunday, but we are still locked in this school. I miss my owner, my pug parents, and my big brothers. When I stared at my pink blanket it reminded me of Penelope and as I peered at my backpack, I recollected the time when my mother created this backpack out of the finest pink grass. Remembering these memories made me feel delighted but also glum. But then I was imagining what Minnie was feeling inside. I bet she too was gloomy and cheerless because I have only been here for five days, not five years. I’m not sure if she was feeling that way, but I do,so we soothed each other with a gigantic snuggle. Even though we felt doleful, it was exhilarating to have the whole entire academy to ourselves.
We created masterpieces, we slurped crumbs off the glossy floor, and searched through desks in the second-grade classroom. Minnie and I enjoyed ourselves. Inside each grimy desk we found many pieces of pink, aqua, and lavender cloth, which was perfect for beds for us to rest in. Tomorrow, we have another chance to find our magnificent and charming owners. This time we will find them no matter what. Bye, Diary!,
