I have a fairy who lives in the shoe cupboard at the bottom of my wardrobe. 

Her name is Aimee and she wears a pink jacket and red leggings. 

Sometimes she helps me in the garden ... 

... or with my homework,

and sometimes we just sit on the back step and talk.

One day Mum said that the shoe cupboard was getting very messy and that it might be nicer for Aimee if we gave it a tidy.

So, we cleaned it all out but I was worried about Aimee because I didn’t see her there.

One day passed, and then another, but we didn't see Aimee anywhere. I was really worried. 

We told our neighbours and their fairies what had happened. They said they would help look for Aimee. 

The next day I was sitting by the river still worried about Aimee, when the fairies from next-door came with Aimee’s pink jacket and pants on their coat hanger – but no Aimee.

I decided to go back to the cupboard and have another look. I carefully pulled out all the shoes one by one just in case she was there...
