Once there was a mother blue jay who had laid three eggs.

Blue jays were one of the most beautiful birds on the planet, so the mother expected to have very pretty children blue jays.

Soon enough, an egg was hatching because there were cracks everywhere getting bigger and bigger each time. The mother bird felt a pound of excitement...

The egg finally hatched and a small baby blue bird came out.

She was the cutest little bird on earth and she was the same shade of beautiful blue as her mother.

Mother blue jay was so happy and relieved.

The next day, another egg started to hatch. 

The baby bird was as adorable as her sister and she had beautiful small baby wings.

Mother blue jay expected the next egg to hatch the next day.

Although it did not.

She hoped it would hatch the next day, but it didn't.

It didn't hatch the next day, or the next, or the next or the next. Mother blue jay got very worried.

One day during autumn, mother blue jay was feeding her birdies delicious worms. 

Mother blue jay did not expect this to happen, but the egg finally hatched and a very small baby bird came out.

Unexpectedly, this little one was nothing like her sisters. She was grey; not blue, her wings were very small; not strong enough, they also had very little feathers; not beautiful. Her mother called her "Grey-Gen and She was very ugly.

The two other baby blue jays stop and stared at her younger sister. What was happening? did they feel sorry?...

Nope. They both burst out laughing for a whole minute and still chuckled during feeding time.

This did not only happen for a day, as well as it happened for nearly 4 years and they were still bullying their sister.

poor  grey-Gen was being bullied for all of her life.

Ha! 

          Ha! 

                     Ha!

SHE'S SO UGLY!!!

Grey-Gen's mother was frightened of her and only fed her one worm while her sisters got three.

The only day the blue jays' mother let Grey-Gen travel far away and explore the wilderness was on her birthday.

This was getting unfair for poor Grey-Gen.

one day, Grey-Gen wanted to show her sisters she could finally fly properly of a very high branch.

Grey-Gen's sisters started to chuckle at first, but when they found out she fell into a pond, they laughed all day long until they fell into a pond themselves.

'Oh yeah, I'll show you I can be as pretty as you guys!' Grey-Gen exclaimed.

'Oh you'll never be as pretty as us, as long as your "Grey-Gen" forever.' The other one responded. 'I'll do it. I promise I will show you how!' Grey-Gen replied.

And yet, Grey-Gen was no liar. She was planning to set off and find someone who could help her...

First, she flew over to Mrs. Cow in the farm, without her mother knowing...
