Chapter 1: Arrival
T-minus 5 seconds… 4… 3… 2… 1… “I have Arrived at my destination”.
An ominous dark figure stands up from his rest on top a seat with many
controllers attached to it. A voice from an intercom calls the ominous
figure, “Jack. Jack is your name from now on. English is your only language
now”. The figure acknowledges the speech and moves towards the exit of the
building sheltering him. “Jack. I will not fail my own people… I will not fail
under any circumstances”. The figure puts his whole hand consisting of three
fingers on the palm scanner connected to the door. A bright light comes
through into the whole room, illuminating the whole corridor. An alien like
face with clear glowing blue eyes gazes its surroundings. “I’d be glad to get
rid of all this garbage ridden land they call… Earth. It’s not worth my time to
lay a foot on top this soil, but it is what I must do”. Inside a barren alley way
crawling with all life but humans, the alien steps out onto new ground. With
a touch of a screen on the aliens wrist, it consumes its whole being into
another... a bright flash and a loud sound, the alien is no longer, simply just
another human on earth… Jack. “This place will be no longer”.

Chapter 2: Accommodation
Down the dark alley, the ominous figure strolls again, only this time it is
recognizable as a human. Black hair, black sweater, and black track pants, jack
struts throughout the new world without emotion. Blank. No expression.
Lifeless. He continues out onto a street, where he sees the rest of the
surroundings.Tall lit buildings and odd shapes moving throughout; sirens fill the
atmosphere as lights flash everywhere around him, all mysterious to him, so
unfamiliar, it is almost all… “alien”, to him. Darkness shrouds him, alone in a
desolate place neglected by society and still worn down by others. He attempts
to take in everything and go on with his mission. Again, and again repeating to
himself: “Humanity’s secrets is ours to keep… but let it be known, soon, that
humanity will be eradicated”. Gloomy building facades stare down jack as he
passes underneath their deadly glare. For once in his unknown life, he felt
something. Fear. He did not know what could happen, what humanity really
was, how they acted, how they functioned. Jack just knew that he was now one
amongst humans. He continues his journey onwards throughout the

urban environment as he ponders what could happen to him, or rather who will
encounter him. A dim light shines on the ground below Jack, and progressively
grows brighter, very, very, quickly… but what Jack thought of as a star
illuminating the sky, was his first encounter with alien life. Thump.

Chapter 3: Awakening
The panicked lady hastily steps out of her automobile to check what she has just
hit, trembling she says, “Oh my God… Ar- Are you O-Ok?”. There was no
response from jack. His body was unharmed as it was just a disguise, but deep
inside, a ticking time bomb arose in his alien body. Without anymore thinking,
the mysterious lady was now a criminal, but who would know? No one was
there to hear the tree fall, it never happened. It was now dawn, and jack had
finally risen from his ever-so-horrid mishap. He looks at his own image from a
water puddle left in the street. “This abnormal atmosphere must of knocked me
into a detrimental state… my insides are hurting beyond belief”. Jack continues
to trek the streets of the urban jungle. He soon finds himself into civilization.
People, cars, busy streets, loudness. He wonders by as strangers look at him
with a puzzled look. His injured state has caused him to walk as if he was in
pain, and everyone gazes as he saunters through the city. Jack thinks to himself,
“These humans seem to like eye contact too much for their own good. Another
reason to wipe this sorry race off my universe”. He decides to investigate inside
of a random building to inspect its interior.

He enters a corner coffee shop. Inside everyone leers at Jack, they all know
something is wrong with him, but no one moves a muscle. “Is he hurt? Is he
Infected with something? He doesn’t look well”. Voices from around the Cafe
can be heard clearly by Jack. Then a peculiar voice peeks from within the back
of the cafe, “Sir, are you ok? I’m so sorry for what happened earlier, can I do
something to help o-or do you need something?” Jack looks puzzled and
replies with a blank stare; he leaves the cafe with haste. The strange lady
follows behind, not wanting to leave him in his condition. Jack runs quicker,
and quicker, but ultimately cannot keep it up; the lady catches up. He falls to
the ground out of breathe and in a furious roar he exclaims, “WHAT DO YOU
WANT, LEAVE ME BE!” The lady, frightened, backs slowly to her knees.
She begins to cry as Jack sits completely oblivious of the situation. “I just
wanted to help… I meant no harm, I’m sorry… It’s just what I did earlier to
you… it seemed right to lend my hand.” Jack still sitting slowly begins to pick
himself up and thinks to himself again, “Humans are capable of having
emotions… and feelings for others. Something I have not experienced in so
long, it has been centuries ever since something like this has occurred”.

He awkwardly speaks to the lady in a quiet, friendly tone, “Hello, my name
is…” a long pause follows, “Jack”. The lady finally realizes he has no memory
of what happened that night, and she had been abruptly helping, maybe too
helping. Before anything else happens, or before she says anything, Jack falls
to the ground. The clock is still ticking for him.

Chapter 4: Comprehension
Jack awakes again, this time not in the middle of the street, but on a couch, a
feeling oh-so-comfortable for him. He looks around and notices he is not
outside anymore, he’s in a building. A light box is playing pictures with sound,
a rotor on the ceiling, vessels filled with vegetation, and a glass container with
liquid and what appeared to be small lifeforms floating around in the liquid.
“What kind of purpose does such a building hold”, Jack thinks to himself out
loud.. He stands up with no pain, and begins to patrol the mysterious building.
He enters a room with many flat surfaces, and miniature doors on a lot of the
extrusions from the wall, and in the midst of all of this was a tall black box with
2 doors. He approaches it, and opens the door on the left. With great reflex, he
jumps back as a gust of cold air flows from the door opening. He lays behind
the wooden structure in the middle of the floor. Jack looks at his hands, and it’s
his hands, he is not Jack anymore. He starts mashing his wrist to try to turn back
to his disguise, but it all fails. The cold sabotage the morphing instrument and is
unable to work as far as Jack knows. He goes back to the magic light box to see
what it is.
