Once upon a time there was a family of three. This 

wasn’t just an ordinary family they were very skilled 

people. The Papa was a great builder and could build 

anything, the mom was a great cook, and last but not 

least the little guy was great at archery. They lived 

deep in the woods with the population of twenty people.  

Their neighbors were very respectful to the family 

because of what they do for others. 

One day the family made a huge dinner for a 

party on the weekend. Everybody was invited 

that lived in the town. Today the family went 

to get some more food and stuff to drink for 

the guests.   As they left a little bear came 

snooping around in the village looking for 

something to eat. He thought that maybe 

someone would have thrown some food out for 

the animals. He got halfway done sniffing out 

the other house and then he smelt the food in 

the family’s house. 

One day the family made a huge dinner for a party on 

the weekend. Everybody was invited that lived in the 

town. Today the family went to get some more food and 

stuff to drink for the guests.   As they left a little bear 

came snooping around in the village looking for 

something to eat. He thought that maybe someone 

would have thrown some food out for the animals. He 

got halfway done sniffing out the other house and then 

he smelt the food in the family’s house. 

He giggled “that is going to be mine and they aren’t 

going to catch me.”

He thought in his head that he might come later when 

all the people are gone to school and work. As the bear 

was leaving the area the family pulled up one their 

horses.

It was the day of the party and the bear was really 

hungry. So the family was setting up the party while the 

bear scouted out the area. He came up with about a 

hundred different ways that he could get in by the food. 

As the time came for the party, people from the village 

were coming into the party room in the middle of the 

village. The bear thought that if the house is open while 

the family is greeting the party guest he could go and 

check it out.
