Special thanks to my sister who always inspires me to do all sorts of crazy things.

Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom called Obelia, there was a king, who had three sons: Arthur, Charles and Leon. All three princes were loved and respected because they tried to be worthy of their title. They helped their father to look after the peaceful coexistence of the people of the Obelia kingdom.

The local people, and visitors too, felt very comfortable staying here. The common people had access to food throughout the year thanks to the fertile land and the river that ran through the king's lands to the southeast.

The king served the country faithfully, making just decisions on matters that arose. Although he was a strict father, he loved his sons secretly and wanted only the best for them.

Artrhur
Charles
All the princes were very friendly, brave and in their own way handsome. The first prince, Arthur, was very sociable and because of this he could easily make friends with everyone. The second prince, Charles, was a young talent whose intellectual skills were admired by everyone in the kingdom. The third prince, Leon, was cold to everyone and loved being alone. He didn't seem to be interested in anything around him. This bothered the king.

Leon
One day, concerned about the situation with his youngest son, the king made a decision. Thinking that in this way he could help his son hatch out of his shell, he decided to marry him off to a princess of a neighbouring kingdom. The princess was beautiful and elegant, wise and sincere. She agreed to the wedding in spite of the fact that she knew nothing at all about Prince Leon.

She only wanted to help her father strengthen the alliance between the kingdoms. Leon, for his part, could not go against his father's will and understood that this day would someday come, and so quietly accepted his fate.

However, to the king's greatest regret, even after the marriage the third prince did not change his behaviour one bit. He was still indifferent to everything and rarely spoke to the princess. After that, the king ordered his trusted servant to keep an eye on what the prince was doing and who he was talking to for a few days.
A few days later, the servant appeared before the king with a report on the youngest of the princes. It turned out that Prince Leon went out every morning and only came back to the castle late at night. The king became curious about what his son was doing outside the castle. He decided to follow him personally.

The king was curious. The king did not notice how his feet led him to the shop. What he saw took his breath away.
The king finally understood. He understood why Leon was acting so aloof. He understood what the prince was hiding from everyone. It was his passion. A passion for woodcarving.

One day as a child the third prince, walking past the many shops, saw a unique chair. It was decorated with all kinds of beautiful patterns. He was struck by this beauty.

He wanted very much to make something like that with his own hands, so he immediately asked the master to make him an apprentice. Since then he did not part with his only hobby.
The king was moved to tears when he saw how Leon was reviving, smiling, talking to everyone and doing what he loved. He had never seen Leon working so hard, so caring and attentive to everyone. And he didn't need his status as a prince or anything else for that. He wanted to be a simple man, like the other inhabitants of the Obelia kingdom. Here Leon always listened to the opinions of those around him, and sometimes he created toys out of wood especially for children. After observing how happy people were and what a stable life they had, the king felt like the happiest man in the world.
