Everyone thought the monster in the village was mean, but she was really nice. When she tried to make friends, though, the house came up and everyone ran away. The houses came up even higher, when she ran away, because she never made any friends. Which just made them more scared.

Soon, the monster found they had put up a glass wall! She was really sad, and gave up for a while. But one day, she thought, of it again, and became determined to make friends.

So, she found a mask, put it on and went to the village. She was planning to show them how funny she was, so she would make friends. And it turns out it worked! The villagers were scared at first, but then the monster told them she came here to make friends.

The king even declared, "The monster is nice! No need to be scared! She was just misunderstood, after all!" The monster begain, coming and going whenever she pleased and the villagers never got scared!

The monster, gained their trust so much, the villagers let her pick them up, and walk them around, so they could see what she saw.
