Families come in all shapes, colors and sizes.
Even though families don’t always look the
same, they all share one special thing; love for
each other. Having two moms or two dads is
just as wonderful as having one of each.
Together, they teach you all about life. They
teach you how to read, cook, play sports, do
crafts, fish, and play video games. Having two
loving parents gives you twice the amount of
love and understanding. Although it may seem
like having a lesbian, gay, bisexual, and
transgender family is not normal, in actuality, it
is quite normal for many children.

Let me tell you a wonderful
story about a little girl named
Ava who had two daddies.

Ava lived in a home with her
two daddies Eric and Sam.
One day, when Ava's daddies
took her to school they kissed
her goodbye and walked away
holding hands.

While Ava stood in line to enter
her classroom, Danny asked
Ava why she had two daddies.
"Two daddies Ava; that is just
weird" Danny said. Ava was
very upset and began crying.

That night, when Ava went to bed
she told her daddies what Danny
said. Daddy Eric held Ava's hand and
said; "Ava, there is no such thing as a
weird family because every family is
built with love".

The next day, when Ava went to school
Ava saw Danny at the playground. As
Danny walked up to Ava with his group of
friends Ava called out to get Danny's
attention. When Danny approached Ava,
Ava said...
"Hey Danny, your family is wonderful
because you have a mom and a dad that
loves you and my family is wonderful
because I have two daddies that loves me
very much. My daddies say that family is
love".

Ava lives in an LGBT household.
