Once upon a time..yes, yes I know, but...once upon a time there was a little boy named Dameon. Dameon lived in a world where it seemed nobody cared about anyone else &  it made him sad.  He loved to help people, not because he got anything from it but because it made him feel so good & he hoped it made others happy, too.

Like when Dameon came by one day &  helped a bird back in his nest or when he helped a little girl across street or when he gave his sandwich to a hungry puppy.  Others were only doing things for themselves, not caring about others.  But best of all Dameon smiled when he did it &  if he was offered something  he would just tell them to share a smile &  make others happy.

But the people of the town weren't like Dameon, he wouldn't make fun of anyone or hit someone, they thought he was boring....but he wasn't.  Dameon only knew he was helping others, that's what was important, even if the town had a "KEEP OUT" sign so people wouldn't come there.  The town was dirty  &  people didn't like each other.

Dameon never cared about what people thought about him, he only knew he was helping others &

that's what was important.   He was happy; he laughed, he liked everyone, &  his life was great.  He would hear others complain about everything even him helping others, but as long as he made another happy, it didn't matter.

Every day Dameon helped others feel better in his own way....but one day Dameon became very very sick.  He felt sad because he couldn't do what made him happiest.  Laying in his bed he worried more & 

more about those who needed his help &  grew sad.  No one had ever seen Dameon sad until now.

Each day Dameon worried more &  more but he knew he had to get better to help the people.  He did everything to get better until one day he was able to get out of bed &  go help people again.  BUT when he walked to town he was surprised, everything looked new and the sign said "Welcome".
