EASTER traditions from Romania

•"Resurrection of the Lord": On Easter night, people gather at the church to attend the Resurrection service and receive the Holy Light from the lit candles in the church.

•"Easter Lamb": Roasted lamb is a traditional dish in Romania, served with stuffed cabbage rolls (sarmale), red-colored boiled eggs, and Easter sweet bread (cozonac), sweet bread with eggs (pasca).

EASTER traditions from Poland

•"Śmigus-Dyngus": It is a tradition where people playfully splash water on each other on Easter Monday. It is believed to bring luck and fertility.

•"Babka": It is a traditional Polish Easter cake, shaped like a woman (baba), and made with ingredients like butter, dried fruits, and lemon zest.

EASTER traditions from traditions Czech Republic

•"Pomlázka": Czech boys make whips from twigs and visit girls' homes, lightly whipping their legs as a symbol of luck and good health.

•"Mazanec": A traditional Czech Easter bread, similar to the Portuguese "Folar."
