Once upon a time there was a female Cheetah named Kiki.

She loved to run around and chase butterflies.

One day, her mom told her that there is going to be a race in the savanna where she lived.

Kiki wanted to be in the race, so she asked her mom how to get in the race. Her mom told her that to get in the race you must qualify to get in the line up. However, a lot of animals wanted to get in the race but there was space for only 20 animals.

But Kiki was confident and in the end, she barely qualified for the race.

After that she ran as fast as she could and chased butterflies as well while practicing.

Her mom Malika and her 3 siblings; Anne, Maria and Michael were amazed at how fast she could run. It was like Kiki could run as fast as an adult cheetah!  Days passed by as they always do and Kiki kept on practising for the race.

The day finally came when she had to race.

Malika was frightened that she would get hurt or die like most runners. It was a very dangerous race.

    But Kiki was brave!
