Chapter 1: Looking at Flowers.

Mase looked at the flowers. "It's finally summer I like this flower!" said Mase. "Want to have a journey inside like the space journey from spring?" asked Malie. "But how?" asked Mase. Malie found a device. A kind of submarine.

"If I can see how this works, I can make it able to shrink small enough," said Malie. He finally made it work.

Chapter 2: In the Dirt.

They went in the dirt. They saw all of the dirt in the ground. "I don't see the roots," said Mase. "That's because we're not at the roots, yet," said Malie.

They reached their roots. "So swirly, or something," said Mase looking. "Roots are super essential to a plant's survival. They can help create soil!" said Malie. "Neat!".

Chapter 3: Root Maggots.

They came across a root maggot. "If they come here, they will prevent us from finishing our journey! Malie, what shall we use?" asked Mase. "Vinegar!" Malie hollered back. "Vinegar is poisonous to root maggots. He sprayed a big bottle of vinegar. The maggot wiggled away. They continued going on the adventure.

But more came. They fought! "Should we do this?" asked Mase. Malie said yes, but Mase wasn't sure. Malie squirted all of the maggots. Some came around, But Malie looked everywhere every time. Squirt! Mase just looked at the process. More maggots attempted to eat, but the vinegar always came. Mase said "I still think we should-" but Malie interrupted and finished with "Squirt maggots!". "This is not laser tag! Will you stop?".

There were no more maggots, but one big creature came. A horse came. It wouldn't eat roots, but instead the top of the plant! "That's even worse!" said Mase. Malie had another trick up his sleeve.

Malie brought a soda pop. They shook it hard. Hard. Malie released the soda and sprayed it on the horse. The horse got shocked and clipped and clopped away. "Let's finish our journey and go to the next segment," said Malie. Mase agreed.

Chapter 4: Them on a Stem.

"We're on the stem. Usually the aerial part of the plant. While the roots make the plant stand strong and steady, the stem makes it stand upright," said Malie. "Potentially neat and cool," Mase responded.

"Hey, can we have a short stop at that leaf? With all those creatures?" Mase questioned. "Sure," confirmed Malie. They met some spiders, worms, and caterpillars.

They had a great time but had to leave. A spider liked Mase, though. "You want to go with us? Ok. But be quiet,” said Mase. The spider smiled happily and said OK. But Malie looked stern.

"Get in, spider," said Mase. Mase thought he was confused. He just brought him in.

Chapter 5: Spider in Sub.

The spider got in. The spider liked Mase, but when he introduced him to Malie, the spider did something.

He wrapped Malie up. Mase was provoked by the spider. Mase got a little annoyed.

Mase got Malie out of the web. If you keep annoying Malie, you leave on the next leaf. The spider felt bad and said "Sorry! And I can speak in real life. 

Just you're too big to hear me," said the spider. "Interesting, but you will have to do it, still,".

It started raining.

Chapter 6:  Drinking in Rain.

It was raining on the stem. Mase wanted a drink. Malie gave him a nice, iced tea.
