Chapter one-Human?
Aloe veras are one of the trickiest plants for the fae to grow, here five easy steps to improve your gro- my peaceful weekend studying was disrupted my a harsh knock on my door. “I’m coming!” My best-friend (ha, maybe a little more than just a best-friend) Zage, a violet-demon, stood in my doorway. “Hey, Sadie. A thing that calls herself a “human” is on the beach, you might wanna come.” “Alright, Ming, lemme grab my stuff…” I kissed him on the cheek before running back inside to grab my jacket
The girl Avery giggled, obviously trying to hide her laughter. I stood up and brushed off my pants, “come on, we’ll All go to my house and talk.”
Chapter two-battles
I rubbed my head where Sadie’s book hit it and stood. “Why’d you have to do that?” I asked, although I was grinning. Sadie punched my arm playfully, “come on,” then she reached down and grabbed my hand, dragging me to her hut, Avery running after us.
Once we were inside, Sadie sat us down at her desk. “How old are you guys?” Asked the girl “I turned 16 a few months ago, and Sadie turns 15 in a couple weeks.”, I answered.
Avery flicked her hair, “I’m 12.” “Anyway, what are humans?” I asked accidentally raising a small skeletal rat. Avery stared at the rat while she spoke, “a human…. Well… I guess we are like fae without wings, or magic. Every one of us looks different.” Sadie stood to get the rat, “hm… do you have battles? Are there fate witches and wizards?” “I mean, there’s wars I guess.” “That sounds like a boring life. So do you have scars from your “wars”?” Sadie pointed to one her wings that had been ripped in half.
She then looked at me, no. I mouthed to her. My scar was more personal. “I got kicked by a pony when I was little, it that counts.” She pointed to a darker, circular, spot on the back of her thigh. Sadie sat back down and tinkered with a locket I had given her after the Battle of Malachi*. “So, you need to get back to your home planet… how could we do that?” I said. Sadie looked at the table, “I might have an idea.
*Battle of Malachi-A Battle that Sadie and Zage took part in to restore peace, see book 1.
Chapter three-celestiorum
“We can’t travel directly to Earth or whatever, but we can make a path across galaxies…” Said Sadie. “I mean, I guess but humans have only made it to our moon, so I don’t know a lot about traveling across space…” I said, than noticed the locket Sadie had been playing with, “also, what’s that locket? Hope it’s nothing personal, I’m just very curious.” I asked. “Oh, just something Zage game me after the battle.” She blushed. “Traveling space should work. The closest planet is Cele…Celest… bah! I can’t say it!”
Said Zage. “I think it’s Celestiorum.” Sadie tilted her head, “the planet of angels.” “That sound nice.” I said. “Oh believe me, angels are more dangerous than you think.” Said Sadie. “Ok.. well… how do we get there.” I asked “think about that later, why don’t you go outside!” Sadie grabbed Zage and dragged him away, leaving me alone in her house.
Chapter four-mrs wildheart
I dragged Zage into the living room, then turned and whispered, “do u know how to get to another planet?” “Don’t ask me, try the Witch or something.” Zage shrugged. I huffed, “You are being so unhelpful, your mom teaches at that one school for demons, yes?” “Yea?” “Then let’s go ask her! She might know.” Zage shrugged and followed me out the door.
At the school, we rushed down the hallways towards Zage’s mom’s room. I knocked on the door, and a young blue demon opened it and ushered us in. “Um, hi Mrs WildHe-“ I started to say but she cut me off. “Oh please, dear, call me Larissa.” She turned to her class, “I’m going out into the hallway for a second, don’t misbehave!”
In the hallway, Larissa asked us what we came for, Zage answered, “any ideas on how to get to another planet?”
“Well…. I do have a boat a old demon built a long time ago… I don’t know if it works, but the description says it’s for traveling between planets…” “let’s have a look”
Chapter five-starborn
Sadie grabbed my hand, and followed my mom through the school’s halls. After some time, we stopped in a giant science room. “It’s right over here.” My mother hurried over to a large structure covered with a giant cloth, and pulled off the cover, revealing a magnificent shining willow and oak boat with StarBorn carved into it. “Woa.” Said Sadie next to me. We stared in awe at it until Sadie spoke up again, “well, we should go pack if we’re gunna leave soon.” I agreed and we walked back to our huts.
Once we all had our bags packed and ready, we loaded onto the ship. Sadie offered to let Avery borrow some of her old cloths while I prepared the ship. I’ve never steered a ship before, but it was fairly easy thanks to demon and fairy magic. Soon we were on our way to the angel’s planet, Celestiom. After a while I went to go join the girls for dinner. “Hi Zage!” Sadie grinned at me as I sat down.

“We were just talking about tactics to use for surving angels. And protecting you from them, since their magic is most effective against demons.” She said. I nodded. “Apparently singing drives them of corse, and Avery said she took what ever choir lessons are on Earth.” Avery nodded. “Alright then” I said
Chapter six-the angel
Avery yawned. Another day in… whatever this world was. She it out of bed and walked out to the deck. Surprisingly, they were already a few miles away from the angel’s planet. “Ready?” Sadie walked over, smiling. “Honestly, I don’t know,” Avery admitted, “everything is so new and different here.” Sadie chuckled, “I’m sure you’ll be fine! We’re landing right now!” She ran over to the front of their boat, gazing at the pure white grass and crystal black leaves in the trees.
*pov change*
“Woa…” Avery stared In awe at the angels’ planet. “It’s so…. Unsettlingly gorgeous.” Sadie nodded as her pet “Chromafluff” or whatever jumped onto her shoulder. She smiled. The boat landed a a pale blue lake surround by trees. “Alright! Let’s go, I’ll go get Zage.” Said Sadie.
—————————————————————
Avery peered around a tree, checking for any angels. Zage looked around nervously, and jumped when her heard a twig snap, grabbing Sadie’s hand. “Zage! Calm down!” Sadie laughed, “it’s just a… whatever that it.” She pointed to a small, fluffy, gold dog-like creature with one red eye
“It’s still an angel creature!” Said Zage. Sadie rolled her eyes, smiling. Avery glanced at the odd creature, “what is it even?” “A Seraph.” A angel with shoulder length white hair, tan skin splashed with paler skin, and icy blue eyes appeared behind the Seraph. “Who are you?” Sadie asked, drawing her dagger immediately and stepping forward. The angel laughed, “my name is Serapheil.” “Is everything here start with “sera”?!” Zage exclaimed. “No…” Serepheil eyed Zage, “demon” Zage blinked.
Sadie frowned, crossing her arms, “acually though, she’s an angel?” Said Avery, “they.” Serepheil corrected, “most angels here prefer to use they insted of being categorized into he or she or whatever else you have. And also, the council wishes to see the demon.”
Sadie grunted and sat up, rubbing her head. what happened? Where am I? She looked around, “Zage?” Her voice echoed along the walls of the cave she sat in. “He’s not here, the angels took him.” Avery sat behind her, curled up in a ball off the floor. “I’m going to murder everyone of this entire planet-“ Sadie muttered, “HOW DO WE GET OUT OF HEREEE?”
Chapter Seven-the angel prison
“magic maybe?” said Avery, “you do have magic, right?” “Yes, but angel magic and any type of fairy magic is parallel, so I cant use it against their work.” Sadie huffed. Avery watched the guards on the other side of the prison bars march past their cell. Some of the guards walked behind a big, iron door, and another shouted gruffly at them, “Let them in!” Serapheile, the young angel who had captured them, walked in, frowning slightly. They walked up to Sadie and Avery’s cell, watching the two intently. “Our ruler requests a visit with the faery and the human. She has already spoken to the violet-demon.” They glanced at Sadie, “He is to be dealt with later.”
chapter eight-the ruler
Sadie walked into the angel’s small enclosed throne room, Avery following her. She noticed Zage sitting in a large silver bird cage, hanging above the ruler’s throne, and twitched her 3 good wings, wishing she could still fly. Zage hadn’t noticed her, which was interesting because Avery was squealing loudly about how sparkly the room was. “His cage is sound proof.” The angels’ ruler said as if they could hear Sadie’s thoughts, “the only thing he can hear is his fears, doubts, confessions.” “wouldn’t it be ‘and confessions’- sorry.” Avery piped up as Sadie glared at her. “Anyway, I want to have a…. Nice, peaceful…. Chat” the ruler continued, “you may call me Ruler Anjelik.” “I thought angels were supposed to be followers of God..? So are these fallen angels like the… devil?” Avery whispered to Sadie. “These are different.
(im not trying to offend any non-religous or people who don't have the same belifes, that is just what i belive to i decided to incude it in the chapter :)
They aren’t really angels…. I don't know what they are…” Sadie whispered back. One of the angel guards poked Sadie with the blunt end of their spear, “shhhh!” Zage finally looked up, his face tear streaked, and, noticing the girls, jumped up. “SADIE!” he hollered silently through the sound proof cage bars. Seraphile scowled. Avery sneezed and crossed her eyes doing so. Ruler Anjelik clucked disapprovingly.
chapter nine-zage and sadie
The cage's silver door swung open. Zage smiled at Sadie-the light from Vivalune and Cakidune, the planet's suns, reflected off his face, making him look even more beautiful then Sadie had ever seen him. He stepped out of the cage, slowly, but that wasn't fast enough for Sadie. She had already been through so much, she didn't want to lose him again, even if this time he wasn't dead. She rushed toward him, drowning him in an embrace.
Zage grunted in surprise, "missed you too?" Sadie chuckled and gazed up at him, "you're so tallll." He smiled again, lowering his head until their faces were inches apart, "I-" Sadie stopped him by closing the distance between their faces. "That's for letting the angels take you away from me." She gave him another quick kiss, "and that's just because I can." Zage blinked a couple times in surprise. Avery squealed, jumping up and down happily.
"I..." Zage blinked again. "ugh, lets just go already!" Serapheile huffed, grabbing Avery, Zage, and Sadie's arms and dragging them out of the room toward their boat.
chapter ten - thoughts
Zage glanced at Sadie, who stood at the bow of their boat. She glanced at the water below StarBorn, she shrieked when a pink dolphin almost knocked her overboard, glancing to see if Zage had noticed, blushing. They hadn’t talked much since the kiss, and Serapheile seemed to be avoiding them. They had walked over to Zage earlier that day, asking him about Sadie, Zage had even seen them sneak a glare at her. He was snapped out of his thoughts when Sadie walked over. “Hi…” she said shyly, still watching the water. “Hey…” Zage smiled slightly, “what’s up?” “not much…” she blushed. “Oh, come on, something's up-” “WE’RE HERE!” Avery yelled, cutting off Zage.

chapter twelve - envy
Serapheile walked over to Avery, “which planet?” “Manyu, the dryad and druid planet!” Serapheile looked down at the green planet, and then glanced back at Zage and Sadie, who were smiling and chatting about something. Serapheile felt a pang of envy watching them feel so easy with each other; Zage looked so perfect and yet… he didn't want anything to do with the angel. “You good?” Avery startled Seraphiel by asking. Nobody had really even asked them that before… “yeah, I'm fine, I'm going to go take a nap. I'm not feeling well.” They smiled at Avery, then headed below deck, finding their room and laying on top of their bed.
Serapheile listened to the distant chatter from above, before closing their eyes to fall asleep…
‘’Hello, Serapheile….” Serapheile woke in a completely black room, and the only thing they could see was the faint writing appearing in the air, “what the…” “you feel… left out, yes? I can help, you would have to pay a small price…” “First of all, who are you? Second of all, what price??? Third of all, HOW DO YOU KNOW ME AND HOW I FEEL?!” Serapheile turned around in circles, trying to find a way out.
chapter 13 - new friend?
Avery landed StarBorn, then ran below deck to wake Serapheile. “SERAPHEILEEEEEE” Serapheile groaned and walked out of their room, “wut.” “Time to go! you slept for half a hour!” “but i was only there for 5 minutes… nevermind” Avery grabbed Serapheile’s arm and dragged them up-deck. Zage and Avery stood on the bow, holding hands. “Everyone ready?” Zage asked, smiling. “Yep!” Avery exclaimed, jumping off the boat. “There's tons of moss down here! Jump down!” “I'd rather fly,” Serapheile opened their wings and flew down.
chapter fourteen - ...gone?
Zage growled, “why…” “oh… oh. I get it.” the dryad said quietly. “Get what?” Avery asked, “a faery who called himself ‘Malachi’ treenapped me, and told me to help him find a faery with short ginger hair and green eyes. Of course, I would never do that. He must have known. I found him writing a letter to an angel in a dream, telling them to do my job… I think he used your angel friend to lure away your faery friend…” the dryad said. Zage stared at her, “M…Malachi NightShade?”
chapter fiveteen - trapped
Sadie groaned, sitting up in a dark, prison-like room. “Zage?” she looked around, “Avery??? Anyon-” “hello child.” Sadie was interrupted by a male faery with jagged black hair and emerald green eyes. “Malachi…” Sadie whispered. Malachi smirked, “I can thank your friend for bringing you here…” he turned to Serapheile, who was standing behind Sadie. They walked forward and smiled, bowing to Malachi, then walked to stand behind him. Sadie stared at Serapheile in horror. “You would obey that monster?! Do you know what he did to Zage?!” Serapheile’s smile faltered, “it's for a good reason…” “Yeah, I bet it is.” Sadie scoffed.
“Enough of this ridiculousness.” Malachi frowned, “but the faery in a cell in the ship. We’re going to Earth.” “um, K-king NightShade, what will you do with her?” Serapheile spoke up quietly, “I don't want to hurt her… because, uhm, Zage wouldn't like me then…” Sadie frowned, “why do you care? He wont like you anyway if you took me.” “because I like him!” Serapheile snapped, staring at Sadie, “and why do you care if I care?!'' They grabbed Sadie’s wing and dragged her inside a metal ship. Sadie ignored them, letting herself be dragged. Serapheile liked Zage? As in… a crush? But Sadie liked him!
Serapheile knew that! And now she needed to find a way to keep them away from Zage… somehow she would….
chapter sixteen - earth
Serapheile scowled, looking out the deck of the Boar’s Head, Malachi Nightshade’s ship. Now that Sadie knew that they liked Zage, if Sadie lived then she wouldn't let Serapheile anywhere near Zage. they sighed. “Gosh, why am I so dumb…” they thought, watching the stars “You, angel! We’ll be at Earth in 15 minutes if this freaking speed button works! Go wake the faery!”
chapter seventeen - the dryad castle
Gazebo snickered and poked Zage’s wings. “Cool, cool. HEY, AVERY IS IT???” “YEA???” Avery yelled back to her, even though she was 3 feet away. “Oh hi. You're my best friend now because you also seem like a problem child.” said Gazebo, draping her arm across Avery’s shoulder. “God has let me live another day and I'm about to make it everyones’ problem.”
“WE’RE GOIN’ TO THE DRYAD CASTLE AND... that is a horrible song, Gazebo.” Avery blinked. “I know. I only use it for annoying purposes.” Gazebo grinned, “Zage currently looks very sleep deprived and it’s funny”
